“A GEM of a Hotel in an awesome location.”
Reviewed 19 September 2011

I stayed at this hotel in August for a 4 night work trip.
The hotel is very trendy, funky and unique. It has some unusual design features. The location (Siam Square location is a must for shoppers - the hotel is 3 minutes walk to MBK) is fantastic and the staff cannot do enough to help you. The food a the hotel was lovely and well priced. The Day Spa divine and well priced - staff amazing and such a wonderful environment.
I have been to Bangkok more than 12 times and I LOVE this city.
Well priced, fantastic location and wonderful staff - you could not go wrong

Room Tip: All rooms are very funky. Such a quite location yet right near the centre of shopping heaven.

First to note is the modern, chic design of the hotel, despite a little hard to find - it was not in the Map of Bangkok for tourists yet. The taxi had to make its way in from another road different from its address as it was a one-way road leading to the hotel.

The lobby is quiet, clean and chic. The check-in counter allows guests to sit comfortably while the staff processes the check-in. That is one of the many aspects of service different from other hotels that I noticed. There was also an expresso machine next to the lift area, for guests to help themselves to cups of coffee!

The next important thing to note is that the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Service is excellent. Ice was even provided in the room for preparing chilled drinks. At breakfast the staff were able to meet our needs, and very timely too.

The design of the rooms are as the pictures in their website, which is really a wow factor. One complaint is just that for the triple room (imagine friends sharing a room) the doors for the bath area can't really close properly and leave quite a gap. It made us feel uneasy to get changed near the doors (no other area to place our fresh clothes).

The location of the hotel is within walkable distance to the BTS Station, which makes it really convenient. It is also not too near the main road so it minimises noise from the traffic.

Room Tip: See review about bath area for the triple sharing room. It is more suitable and intimate for couples...

Recently I stayed few nights in LIT hotel for business as it is conveniently located very near national stadium skytrain station. I was very surprised by the modern design atmosphere which I never did see before in Bangkok. All aspects of the hotel were "redesigned". The rooms are full of pleasant surprises and especially the bathrooms were very well equipped. Even the trolleys for luggage and housekeeping were different then I ever did see before. The staff was very friendly and helpful but not in a way that you get an "over the top" feeling. Everything here is brand new but it is all quality wise very good so I can not imagine that things will deteriorate quickly as you see that so much in asian hotels. The breakfest was very good also and overall it was really very relaxing to return to this place after stressful meeting schedule in this hot, busy city.

Room Tip: all rooms have a theme which can be very different. look carefully to the photo's shown on inter...

Stayed here for the first 2 nights for our annual family vacation. Took 2 rooms, one of them a triple room.

Location is really ideal, it's a 1 minute walk to the main road, from there turn left to MBK, Siam Square, Siam Discovery etc, turn right to National Stadium BTS. All very conveniently located.

Hotel is new and modern and furnished with quality. There is an espresso machine at the lobby where you can help yourself to a complimentary cuppa. Mac computers in the lobby for free surfing. Free wireless internet in the guestrooms. Warm greeting and check-in by the staff with a cold towel and welcome drink. Check-in was by iPad, very modern.

We took 2 rooms, a double and a triple. The double was the Extra Radiance room, it was nice and cosy, with the highlight being the bathtub right in the middle of the room, you can choose to open the curtains to enjoy a very open bath, or draw the curtains for a private soak, and there are mood lighting for you to adjust as you wish.

I stayed in a Triple Luxe Suite with a separate living area and bedroom. Bedroom has an additional closet behind so there was plenty of space. Living area was connected to the bathroom, and I especially love the fact that there was an additional sink outside of the bathroom. It was convenient and well-thought of for a triple room. If someone is in the bathroom, you still can wash up in the sink outside. Separate shower and bath, and a very clever use of shower / toilet door. Only issue was that there was no where to place my toiletries in the shower and I have a personal dislike of placing toiletries on the floor. 2 TVs, 1 in the living room and 1 in the bedroom. Cosy living area.

Breakfast variety is rather limited, some items on buffet, eggs by order, but it was alright for the hotel size. The eggs are awesome, I love the egg-white omelette and the fresh orange juice.

There is a pool, a fitness centre and a spa, but I didn't use any of them as I was out most days.

The staff are really friendly and helpful, especially the concierge, who really helped to answer a lot of my enquiries and solve any issues I have.

Overall would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights, very quiet location with zero traffic noise, but only 5 mins walk to the MBK and BTS station. Booked an Extra Radiance room but got upgraded to a Different Degree room on check in. All the staff are well trained and are amazingly helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast is excellent, served until 10:30am, but would have liked some muesli to choose from. Set lunch is also good, as is all the food. Free wifi in the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom is massive with powerful rainfall shower and bath, though lacking a water hose by the toilet. All in all a great place to stay for its convenient location, amazing staff and the fact its only been open a couple of months so everything is spotless and brand new.....

We stayed here with our 2 children for 1 night at the end of our holiday as the Novotel on Siam Square where we had stayed before was full. This hotel only opened in May and I could find no reviews anywhere. However we were very pleased with our choice.

This is an ultramodern hotel unlike anywhere else we have stayed before. There is amazing attention to detail with the design of hotel and the rooms. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is also an excellent location only a few minutes walk to MBK centre, Siam square and the Stadium Skytrain yet quietly tucked away in a back street. There is also free expresso coffee avialble in the reception area

The only downside is that they were not perpared for a family of 4 sharing a room despite having made a booking on Expedia for 4 in a room. There was only 1 double bed but the staff were very helpful and provided bedding for our 2 daugters on the floor.
Also there was a power cut in the room in the night which the staff were unable to fix. Fortunatlely the Air Condtioning still worked!

There was a good breakfast as well for which in theory we were meant to pay for the 2 children (which we had not been forewarned). However in view of the power cut we had had, the manager kindly waived this charge.

Overall we would definitley recommend this hotel to stay in Bangkok.
