This hotel is a solid 4 star hotel. It is directly accessible from national stadium BTS (exit follow sign to LIT hotelthen take the first side road after 7-11 on your left.)

The hotel from when you enter looks wonderfully modern. Staff very helpful and happy and we were taken to our room without any problems (I had booked directly with the hotel).

Once taken I had a very minor issue with the room (which I made passing small comment to luggage guy) and next thing I know I receive a call and I'm upgraded to another room.

Superb attentive service. We had a very comfortable sleep in their suite which was a beautiful room. Everything was pristine and looked very modern resulting in a very comfortable stay.

The location near all the top malls was perfect, and the staff were helpful at every point. The breakfast selection was varied and great. Very little complaints about the hotel. They seem to have ticked all the boxes.

There was even a complimentary foot massage, and also a daily complimentary budget from the minibar which was a great touch.

The bathroom was excellent although the toiletries were average in quality.

Highly recommended especially if you get a good deal. A great comfortable experience in Bangkok

My husband and i had an enjoyable stay at The Lit Hotel. The staff, from the receptionist to the manager, were really polite and welcoming. We loved how they brought back to life the catchphrase, The Land of Smiles, which seemed to be missing else where in Bangkok.
They were very accomodating to our needs and took great pains to see to our comfort.
Special thank you to Bob, Gyb and Jack!
We will be sure to return in our successive trips! :)

I loved, loved, loved this hotel.
The exterior and interior hotel design is really cool. We had an Extra Radiance room (because I'd read on Trip Advisor that it was larger) and loved it. Service from the minute you pull up to the hotel is first class. Reception was also fantastic. Noochi (I'm not sure of the spelling) really enhanced our stay with her "beyond the call of duty" service..

The restaurant food was great. My partner found the Thai food good and my western choices were great. Our waitress, Supansa (again, I'm not sure of the spelling), spoke English really well and was fantastic.

There is a small outside dining area, where we had an afternoon drink, which was very nice. We didn't use it in the evening as we didn't want to risk mosquito bites (mosquitos love us both).

The pool is in a bit of a strange location right next to the restaurant window. There are a few narrow rectangular panels on the window which serve as a bit of a screen between diners and swimmers, but if you're shy in and around the pool, you might not appreciate it. My main concern, however, with the pool was that it is accessed by fairly steep stairs. (You are also obliged to traverse the lobby to reach the stairs). I had sprained my ankle and foot prior to our trip so I found the stairs too much of a risk.

The location was very good for us - on a quiet side street off a super busy major road. Siam Centre, Siam Discovery and Siam Paragon shopping centers are just around the corner and they are a must, if only to sightsee—incredible! The famous and enormous MBK and the National Stadium BTS Station are around the corner in the other direction and not far away either. Along the way, you'll pass the Bangkok Art and Culture Center. At MBK, you can exchange money and there are lots of places where you can get your cellphone home SIM card changed for a Thailand SIM card.

If you tire of the restaurant, there is street food in the little side street in front of the hotel. However, the hygiene at some of the stands could make you think twice. There are also lots of restaurants in the malls as well.

There was absolutely no problem getting a taxi to and from the hotel and there were also lots of tuk tuks around. Before getting the taxi, we always asked the hotel doorman how much it would cost for our destination. In this way, we assured ourselves that we wouldn't get ripped off. With the tuk tuks, you have to be very careful because you can end up paying far more than for a taxi if they think they can get away with it. For long distances, we found the tuk tuks a little too much of a harrowing experience. Also strongly suggest that in a tuk tuk you wear a face mask as the traffic pollution is horrendous.

I should note that there was some construction going on at the back of the hotel while we were there. It finished at 8 PM every evening and thank goodness, there were no saws screeching. Since we never got back to our room before 4 PM, it was not the end of the world.

All in all, I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Try to avoid the back of the hotel while construction is going on. If you don't like the bathtub...

Dear HayKay1,

Thank you for choosing LIT! Bangkok for your recent stay in Bangkok and taking the time to share your experiences with the TripAdvisor readers.

We are delighted to learn that you are impressed with the hotel design and appreciated your compliment on our staff especially, Noochy and Supansa as well as the quality of our Thai and Western food. This is a part of our Smart Service Standards that continues at LIT!

At outdoor bar, Fiesta Steppe, where you missed to experience being afraid of mosquito, we conduct mosquito prevention spray weekly Guests are also provided with natural mosquito repellent spray. We wish you will enjoy Bangkok al fresco dining at LIT! next opportunities.

Regret to hear your comment regarding spiral staircase access to the Pool, actually, this is part of our design which aims to keep pool privacy and to enhance more security to the guests, Your comment on stairway step is very useful for us to understand customer preference that we always collect to source out when we have opportunity to adjust.

Last but not least, we will try to manage the noise from nearby construction, which actually it’s our new Resident project where soon to completed. It will give you more innovative experience of one and two bedroom in duplex concept. Hope this matter does not mar your overall LIT! experience

Thank you once again for your feedback and looking forward to be at your service again soon.

Warm Regards,

As this hotel has high rating,I made a decision to stay there for 1 night.
Indeed, the room itself is stylish and modern. But due to no ventilation inside the room, it was full of musty smell.
I was too inpatient to have been able to stay in my room for a long time.
Pls insert earplugs in your nose.

Room Tip: Be patient about musty smell. Don't forget to bring earplugs to protect your nose from the smel...

we really enjoyed the lit as it was right in the centre of town but just out of the bustle, small enough to be treated very well by the staff but large enough to be first class, from special treatment on arrival to an ice bucket in your room this hotel really looks after you. the street outside features cheap street food and a short walk to the major shopping centres and other attractions, i recommend this hotel to anybody as it is a work of art with light and colour everywhere and also features a small restaurant with happy hour, perfect! the staff were fantastic!

I stayed here for about a week, and was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The location is right next to the sky train, and the quiet street it is on had everything one would need (laundry, Thai massage parlor, Internet cafes, restaurants, and loads of cheap taxis. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, and all the free amenities were a pleasant perk. It's a small enough hotel that it has a calm relaxing energy, and very modern (my favorite was the complimentary espresso in the lobby). Their outdoor dining was one of my favorite spots in Bangkok, very lovely ambience. I highly recommend it!
