This is the second time I have stayed at the Eightville apartments. It is a very pleasant 10 min tree-lined walk to the main road (Sukhimvit) or use the complimentary 24hr tuktuk shuttle there and back. You just text the driver from the main road and he will drive back to collect you. This time I stayed in Apartment C which has a balcony overlooking Soi 8. I'm not sure what the other balcony apartments overlook. Six months ago I stayed in the ground floor A apartment- which was a little cheaper-but did not have a window, making it difficult to know what time of the day it was. Both were very spacious, clean, airconditioned and have modern décor. The kitchen area has a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and cutlery- great for bringing back food and reheating or refrigerating as there is no room service. However, 7-11 is a few mins walk and so is the main road, so you won't starve! Internet has worked perfectly both times I have stayed here. Washing machines are available at the reception for 20baht (you need your own powder) compact washing lines are supplied in the rooms. Staff are lovely! So friendly and helpful, the receptionist has good English also. The apartments are very secure. Fingerprint ID is required for entry into the apartment block and there are always drivers and a security guard out the front, which has been comforting as a solo female traveller. Don't be put off by the ten min or so walk to the main road- the quiet, tree lined road is a saviour after mashing it out with a million other people at MBK...plus it's a good way to burn off the extra rotis you ate :)

Room Tip: Choose the apartments that have a balcony overlooking Soi 8

This is a newer property which started sometime in 2011 with just three types of studio apartments. This is a fairly small property with just about 15 rooms spread over four floors. The reception staff is is only available till 8 pm .It is a fairly short walk (about 10-12 minutes) to Sukhumvit road and NANA BTS. Obviously the hotel has a free tuk tuk to the BTS.While the rooms have a microwave kitchenette, its about a 5 minutes walk to a 7 11 where you can get your breakfast essentials and snack needs or you can just across the road to the Royal Asia Lodge for a very reasonably priced but sparse breakfast - i think it is under THB 300 per head. The well sized rooms have nice wooden floors and are divided into three categories from type A to type C with the type C the largest at about 40 sqm. And since it was a newer property we got a fantastic deal at THB 1000 per night if you book for a week stay!!!! for the "A "type room which had plenty of closet space and room to move around!!!!!! The apartment this is far away from the main road which had little to no noise at night. The walk from the main road was very secured and pleasant. If you get the Tuk tuk cell number they would pick you up if needed!!! All rooms come with a slightly small 32 " LCD TV but the choice of channels is extremely limited. Also about 7 min away are a couple of massage shops for feet which cost just under THB 250 which are not be missed after a hard days walk in Terminal 21, Patong, and the MBK . I really enjoyed this Apartment and will definitely stay here on my next trip!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: I think all rooms where close to the same, if you party late and really dont care about a window the...

Lovely room for the price. The internet didn't work but they were nice enough to let us use their computer to check a couple of important details. Staff were friendly (especially the tuk tuk man) and helpful. It was as simple as putting the sign on our door (!) and our room was spotlessly cleaned.
The BTS and MRT are close enough to walk.

While they have WiFi, it does not actually appear to be connected to the Internet. They cannot fix it, there is nobody they can call. They know it doesn't work, but have no interest in making it work. "It costs money to fix."

Unless you hang the "Please make up room" tag on your door there will be no housekeeping.

The front office closes at 8pm. But there is a sleeping guard that can let you into the hotel...just locate the TukTuk and he will be sleeping in it. Wake him up and he will let you in. Seriously.

The rooms are clean, the location is good. But there is no visible sign of any management.

This is a new property started in 2011 with just three types of studio apartments. We stumbled onto this property while we were looking for Royal Asia lodge which is right across the narrow soi 8 sukumvit road. This is a fairly small property with just about 15 rooms spead over four floors. The reception staff is is only available till 8 pm after that you just delay everything till the next day.It is a fairly long walk (almost 10-12 minutes) to Sukhumvit road and NANA BTS past the citin and adelphi suites. Obviously the hotel has a free tuk tuk to the BTS.While the rooms have a microwave kitchenette, a word of caution here, they serve no breakfast and no meals and have no room service. However about a 5 minutes walk brings you to a 7 11 where you can get your breakfast essentials or you hop across the road to the Royal Asia lodge top floor for a very reasonably priced but sparse breakfast - i think it is under THB 300 per head or from Salil Hotel adjoining in an emergency. The well sized rooms have nice wooden floors and are divided into three categories from type A to type C with the type C the largest at about 40 sqm. And since it was a new property we got a fantastic deal at THB 1200 per night for the largest type. Because this is far away from the main road we did get peace and quiet and the beds / mattresses being new were great. All rooms come with a slightly small 32 " LCD TV but the choice of channels is extremely limited. We did face pickup issues from main road to hotel in the tuk -tuk and we had finally walk half way . Also about 7 min away are a couple of massage shops for feet which cost just under THB 250 which are not be missed after a hard days walk in MBK

Room Tip: All rooms are similar but Type C the largest category studio at 40 m comes with a balcony. Take a ro...

Perfect serviced apartment at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 8 away from the chaos that is Sukhumvit road with free tuktuk service from hotel to main road.Big room well furninshed great shower and the best bed I have ever slept on (I do like a firm mattress)Eightville was a perfect introduction to Bangkok for someone that had never travelled to Asia, a relaxing comfort zone away from it all. Handy to 7-11 and nice bars. Breakfast can be gotten from next door hotel (Salil) which is pretty good also. BTS station is at the top of the soi giving easy access to the city or MRT is 5 Mins walk in the other direction
