The 15 minute ride on the metro from city centre becomes an interesting experience of learning how Bangkok works, rather than an inconvenience, if you are stopping over for a couple of days.
The breakfast was great, service was good, and the building modern and interesting. Wifi worked ok, would prefer it be included in tariff rather than an extra, as repeated entry of passwords are just a pain, but overall, I would stay here again. The day pass on the metro is 120 baht, which is a great deal, and it's great to see Bangkok thriving after all the ups and downs of the last few years. A nearby bar was very noisy the night I arrived, but didn't stop me sleeping.
