Brand new hotel in perfect condition with high end decor and nice lobby. Staff smartly dressed and trained for perfect and fast customer service. Check in was the fastest ever from experience. Room was clean, smart but not very big (but not small). All round very good including price.

We booked this hotel after reviewing comments/feedback from tripadvisor.

The location of the hotel is superb; with a direct access from hotel to BTS station, Surasak. This make our travel easy and enjoyable through BTS.
The check-in process is efficient without any hassle. The staff is attentive and will accommodate your request.

However, a minor hiccup happened on our third day of stay. The room was not made up at 430pm when we came back from shopping. Upon request, the room was done immediately with a right attitude.

Overall, I will not hesitate to recommend to anyone who wish to stay at 5 star hotel with a reasonable price and without compromise on quality, safety and security.

I booked this hotel for a big group of us, all up there were eight adults and three small children who stayed in a double room with us with the assistance of an extra bed.

Very useful location with the BTS (train) on the side. The road that this hotel is on is AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE for traffic in the evening, I would suggest using the BTS if you want to avoid spending two hours in traffic on your way here from the airport.

The club lounge benefits were excellent, decent cocktails for two hours and also some great buffet nibbles. If anything it was a bit of a shame that it was so good as we generally stayed there rather than going outside and seeing the real Bangkok in the evening.

The infinity pool on level 14 was fantastic and the "eggs" were great to sit out on while the kids were in the pool. The fitness room was what you would expect although lacking in the free weights

Breakfast on level five had a great range but was a bit manic, with club lounge benefits you have a smaller variety but it is much more relaxed and civilised.

Kids room was okay, nothing special but keeps the kids out of trouble.

The rooms are what you would expect although you need to leave the air con on when you leave your room as it struggles when you are in it, most likely due to the building being "open" from the infinity pool on level 14

Now these guys would have got five stars but for the following: On the first night we came we went downstairs to look at the restaurant, not really our bag, we then went down to the buffet hall and one lady gave us a 25% discount off the 1000 odd bht pricetag for dinner, another then said 50%. We thought this was excellent, we all agreed and went up to the buffet, having kids we sorted them out first. The range was excellent. We were then told we only had TEN MINUTES before they started to pack things away, this meant we then had to go up and stockpile, NOT the civilised way that we would like to sit down as a family. If we had known we had 10 minutes we would have gone somewhere else.

We ordered a transfer through the hotel for a trip down to Hua Hin, where our next hotel was located. We stated that we needed seating for 11 and 22 big bags. When the small bus came it would seat 11 but no where near enough for all the bags. The hotel knocked 1000bht off the 4000 bht fee but we still needed another cab for 1800 bht bringing the total cost to 4800 bht. This was not the end of the world but as you might imagine with a big family the stinking mood it left people in after waiting in the bangkok heat for things to be sorted out is something that could easily have been avoided with an intelligent concierge.

Room Tip: high up as possible!

Upon our arrival at midnight, we were upgraded to a room with an awesome view of Bangkok. The service at this hotel is top quality. Breakfast is an experience with food to satisfy the Thai experience or a Western appetite. The lobby bar has fantastic service with good wine and food. The concierge desk is staffed with helpful workers. It is so simple to take the walkway to the connected BTS station. Even though there are few restaurants within walking distance, the restaurants in the hotel are excellent. I loved this hotel, and this was my 37th trip abroad so I have stayed in many hotels! This one is top notch.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a river view.

I visited this hotel when it opened 2 years ago, and it was already very good, with gentle staff and nice pool (a bit small compared, but so nice view with nice sunset).
2 years after, the hotel (which was new) is getting even better ! The rooms are always clean and in perfect condition, the staff friendly and helpfull, 10 minutes for check in, direct access to BTS Surasak (as the Intercontinentinal with Chitlom for example), so quite easy to join Siam or the Chao Praya River.
I had the chance to have a Suite, with large room, amazing bathroom with view on all Bangkok, with an amazing comfort (but my usual Superior Room is already perfect)
Have tested the Italian Restaurant (good, and the Chef is a real Italian, you can see him cooking with his team) and the Buffet (very good desserts)
Seems the hotel organized each week (?) some special events for guests (I did the Pool Party) and they communicated on others next events.
One point just average : the parking, a bit small.
Definitively one of the best deal in Bangkok.

Room Tip: Ideally the west facing rooms to enjoy the sunset

We loved everything about this hotel. It is a new, modern hotel. It is connected by a bridge to a skytrain station. It has spacious, quite rooms. It offers an extensive free breakfast. It has an infinity pool with a magnificent view. Yet, it charges a very reasonable rate. I wish I can give it a rating of 6!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Easin Grand - stayed for three nights in November 2013 and the facilities were excellent. The pool was really amazing and because we stayed in one of the executive rooms we were able to use the executive lounge which provided food and drink which were both excellent quality.
We did find it difficult to get taxi's back to the hotel in the afternoons and evenings as this road gets very busy and traffic becomes gridlocked which means that the taxi drivers will not take you here at certain times in the day as they become stuck in the traffic; an easy way to rectify this is to ask taxis to take you to one of the nearby train stations and get the train to the hotel (the train has its own walk-way to the hotel) the trains run every couple of minutes to the hotel and are very quick and cheap and they run until early am hours.
