“Excellent - laundry next door ”
Reviewed 27 December 2013 via mobile

Will keep this short and add what others haven't.

Took limo from airport who took us to westin. 30 mins later and directing him myself we arrived to Eastin. Lobby not grand, but adequate.

Excellent spacious room. Baby cot had a nice touch of baby shampoo, lotion and a rubber ducky. 4 bottles of water a day. Kids room was good, but pool was too cold for kids.

Breakfast was good, not amazing. Much better selection elsewhere. Hotel good for bts, but still need to carry pram down stairs from trains.

Laundry in the hotel next door. Just walk passed the reception on lobby and they charge 100 baht for 1kg. Ready next morning.

Reception helpful and smiling but found Concierge unfriendly. Seemed reluctant to call tour agency to see why they were late, and also to weight the luggage(as they don't have scales in rooms and were "out of scales" when we called for one.)

Do the barge tour and safari tour with sunleisuretour.

Happy with hotel but next time will stay in a hotel closer to siam as bts with kids is a hassle.

Very reasonably priced hotel with a top quality. The hotel is connected to the sky train which makes so easy to hop on a train. It was very easy to get around. If you're not going too far, it could be cheaper to take the taxi. The staff are so so friendly and attentive, nothing had been overlooked. The breakfast buffet had a good spread with various choices. I loved the honey from the real hive. The best part of the hotel for us was the infinity pool adjoined with the restaurant/bar. It was such a good setting to lounge around the pool during the day and night. It offered stunning view of the city of Bangkok. The whole experience at Eastin made my first visit to Bangkok so wonderful. I'd definitely return to this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed the quick check-in & out (plus late checkout provided without any fuss) on the executive floor. The hotel seemed quite full, so it was lovely to wander in to our own buffet breakfast on the 32nd floor with just a few other guests. Amazing views, too. The Happy Hour drinks were fine - cocktail menu provided, which was unexpected, as often it's just a choice of wine, beer or soft drinks in other executive floors we've experienced. The food was lovely, too - with 6 different daily menus, apparently. Again, elsewhere I've often felt that we were given the left-overs from daily functions with tired old bits and pieces.
And yes, the pool on the 14th floor, is fabulous, as others have mentioned. Loved the access to the sky train, too. Cheap & easy to use. Enjoyed lunch over at the Blue Elephant - not cheap, but excellent quality.

Room Tip: We slept like babies up on the 32nd floor.

The price is low but the quality is exceptionally high. The hotel is linked to the BTS Sathorn and just few stations away from Siam and it is very convenient for shopping. However, I took taxi from the Don Muang Airport and the taxi driver didn't know how to go there even I got a map downloaded from the website of Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn. Luckily, I got the phone number of the hotel and the staff there helpfully taught the driver to get there.

The breaskfast is recommended. There're lots of choices and the taste is great. The staff in the restaurant are proactive and friendly with smiling faces.

The infinity pool of the hotel is just fantastic with spectacular views of the city. The kids room is nice with lots of toys in it and nice to play Wii with my little girl.

I will definitely come back.

we are a family of 4 and stayed in connecting rooms on level 25. Our flight landed at 3 AM and we reached the hotel at 4 AM. can you imagine we were given an early check in immediately with a smile and WAIT A MINUTE we were not even charged for it. It was only the beginning of an outstanding example of hospitality throughout our stay of 3 nights. We have stayed in several 5 star hotels in different countries and though i would rate the rooms to be a wee bit short of 5 star ,i would rate the service and hospitality as 7 star. Their buffet spread and the connection to a BTS are added benefits. Please keep it up so that we can have a similar experience on our next trip to Bangkok.

Room Tip: take a higher level room
