“Thorougly Enjoyed Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 May 2014

Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. It is connected to the BTS which meant transport around to the different shopping malls were very easily accessible and cheaper/faster than taxi. Location of hotel is about 30min from DMK airport and about 5-10min to China Town so we were close to all the main places.
Rooms were clean and quite modern. Highlight of our stay was definitely the infinity pool - it was beautiful and had a great view especially with drinks at the bar.
Breakfast had a huge variety too. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Include breakfast

We recently stayed at the Grand Eastin for the night and really enjoyed our short stay.

Fantastic City views from our room on the 30th floor. Large super king sized bed and modern and clean room. Staff seemed very friendly and helpful.

The infinity pool and view was amazing. Such a added bonus!

If you are leaving before 6am, the hotel will make you up a breakfast to eat at the airport.

Tip. Take a green taxis from the hotel, as they use the metre and it's cheaper. Although don't let the taxis driver drive away before checking the taxis has seat belts and making sure he turns on the metre. We paid £5 more going to the airport from the hotel due to the driver not turning on his metre.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a business conference. Room is very clean, staff was very courteous, rates (both hotel and food) are good value. One thing I have to point as also the big plus of this hotel is that it has a ramp directly to the Surasak train station on the 3rd floor - so , convenience is not an issue.
Will definitely consider this hotel again when visiting Bangkok

Room Tip: Choose the rooms on the same side of the elevators (windows facing north of Siam Square). Excellent...

We stayed here during the protests and the king's birthday. From our hotel we could see fireworks coming from various locations, it would have been nice if we had taken the superior sky instead. Our package came with a daily breakfast with plenty of varieties but the fourth day, we have got tired of it, only subtle changes were. The connecting bridge to the surasak sky train was what made us chose this hotel out of the many others in the area.

We stayed for three nights at this hotel in the Sathorn area of Bangkok. It was my second time in Bangkok, the first was at the Plaza Athenee which i preferred both for location and amenities but the Eastin was a good choice, check in was smooth and they accommodated an early check-in for us.

Rooms are quite standard, there are no special touches, the hotel in general is very bland, like an average Westin or Marriott. Beds are very comfortable and they provide free water bottles which is nice. The pool area is nice as well, an infinity pool overlooking the city.

Breakfast buffet was OK, not one of the best, and the area seems more like a cafeteria than hotel restaurant. Missing were sweets (desserts), honey and jams for bread and yogurt, cheeses, and selection of teas. For a five star hotel in Asia, i was surprised that they served me regular black tea out of a coffee pitcher, rather than brought me my own water, selection of teas, etc..these are small things, but can make a difference between 4 and 5 star. Overall a nice stay, and having the BTS attached to the hotel was useful as well!

this hotel was beautiful inside. The beds were SO comfortable. The free breakfast buffet had EVERYTHING, from dim sum, rice , veg, traditional western (omelets, other egg choices), numerous fruits, yogurts, cereals, breads, pastries,...) truly an international feast. There was a walkway directly to the sky train to the hotel that made it super convenient. The only negative is there wasn't much nearby that was walkable, but you were only one sky train stop to the river to take ferries, or use the sky train to other locations in town. We took the train from the airport and easily connected to the sky train to get to our hotel - avoiding the horrible auto traffic in Bangkok. The infinitely pool was breathtaking.
