Hotel is amazing defiantly a proper 5* hotel breakfast was amazing, views great with the infinity pool at the top which was a bonus. We booked the vip room and had access to the top restaurant that is also a great experience highly recommend. The restaurant where the infinity pool is there is a restaurant there the food is very highly rated in my books i went for the international cuisine and i had probably one the the best pizzas i've ever had in my lifetime. Overall you can't go wrong!

We had a fab 4 night stay here. We decided to upgrade to an executive room to have cocktails and canapés every evening- we made the most of this lets say!! Infinity pool was great with lovely views. Access to BTS Skytrain was great -very handy and easy to use! Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options including great Asian options. Slight negative is the lack of any local street food / reasonably priced restaurants nearby although taxis are so cheap to get you around e.g to Chinatown (always insist that they put the meter on!)

Reasonable price for a lovely hotel!!

Room Tip: Go for a superior sky room

The infinity pool overlooking Bangkok is incredible and is worth the price of admission by itself.
While food & drinks are a little pricey, it’s still cheaper than average Australian prices and pretty standard for a 5 star hotel. The rooms are very clean, modern and new. We booked a standard room, it was very spacious and the bed was huge and comfy. The real bonus was that the full buffet breakfast was included in our booking (which wasn’t made explicitly clear) so it was a nice surprise. I would recommend you double check that it’s included in your booking as the breakfast was divine and jam packed full of every cuisine option you can imagine. The hotel is connected to the sky rail so it’s super easy to get around the city. I would highly recommend staying here if you want 5 star accommodation without a huge price tag! The only fault I could find with the hotel was that the drain in the bathroom sink was really stinky!!! Other than that, it’s a fantastic hotel and I’d visit again just to lay by that incredible infinity pool!

The location of the hotel is one of its strongest points. Indeed, it benefits from a direct access to the sky train. When you want to get around in Bangkok the sky train is a must! Taxis are cheap, but traffic is terrible.

The hotel is quite classic when it come so decoration (nice, but no surprises) and very comfortable.
The pool is small, but good. The outdoor area around the pool is well made and the lighting there in the evening creates a good ambiance. We only tried one small meal in the pool area and that was unfortunately a disappointment. Much too salt in the food. We informed the staff, but our communication did not have any consequence.

The breakfast is big, but of medium quality. Although I love dim-sum myself, I found the buffet to be a little too much dominated by Chinese breakfast options. It lacked healthy, fresh options in my point of view.

The reception staff was a bit cold. Everything was about money, no "I hope you will enjoy your stay with us" or "How was your stay?". Smiles were also surprisingly scarce. It is so simple to put the guest's experience in the center instead of the financial transaction, but they failed at this.

The concierge was friendly, but not efficient. He tried to push some tailor's brochure on us when we asked for directions to a specific Jim Thompson's outlet where we wanted to buy fabric for some furniture. We showed that we were 100 percent determined about where we wanted to go (this was my 6th time in Bangkok), we did not ask for tips, but he still pushed the tailor's brochure. I found this very unprofessional.

Last month I stayed at Eastin Grand Hotel for 2 nights, an amazing place! Good location, beautiful rooms and nice swimming pool. All staff is very friendly and gives you a lot of information. We also made a reservation for a city tour at the tour counter and had a great day! I would like to recommend this place to everyone.

This was our second time in Bangkok and after a nightmare the first time round, this hotel really changed our view on the city.
The hotel has it's own bridge to the sky train on the 3rd floor. This is brilliant as it's so easy to operate, it's air conditioned and the quickest & easiest way round the city. The staff here were great. Always on hand to help.
The pool was a bit small, but the view out from the skyscraper edges made up for it! Our room was comfy with a very nice ensuite.
A great touch was that on the tv you had an option to view things to do on the city etc and then a detailed section on which bus/train/taxi to get there. This is a gem when your there to sight see and aren't very clued up!
Would definitely go and stay here again!

Stayed at the Eastin in March '14 and been wanting to write this review since then.
This hotel is truly exceptional when in itself, but when you factor in value for money, you will not find anything better in Thailand, possibly in the world.
To put things in perspective: I travel a lot, always stay in 5 star hotels and 9 times out of 10 I book a suite with Club deals. I am picky, fussy and if there is something to complaint about, I would. yet, have not a bad word to say about my 5 days stay.

Booking and choice of room: hotel can be booked through most major hotel sites and often you'll find discount codes for it, which make it even better value. When you choose a room, even if you did not plan to spend as much, I would strongly recommend you book a suite with access to the lounge. The value you get would outweigh the extra expense by probably 2/300%. Make sure you book a corner suite (I think this is the first tier suite which gives access to the lounge). You will get a huge room, but most importantly, you will get the most stunning bathroom you'd have ever seen with a shower big enough to host a party in, floor to ceiling windows and and a bathtube with the most incredible view (all suites of this kind are on very high floors, so the view is guaranteed). Check out the pics I posted and you'll understand.
The room is not only lovely, but comes also with free 3/4 piece daily laundry, turndown and beautiful bathroom amenities.

Club deal - why such incredible value for money? Access to the lounge includes not only breakfast, served a la carte but with also a large and beautifully presented buffet, but includes all day access where you can have free drinks anytime of the day, but also afternoon tea with pastries ans sandwiches, and FREE (yes, free) evening cocktails, alcohol of any kind, canapes and cooked dishes, soups, sushi, more desserts, cheese...you basically won't have to spend any money on food throughout the holiday if you so wished. So, even though you may pay a little more for the room, the value is absolutely amazing!
As if this was not enough, staying in a suite allows you to have breakfast also in the main restaurant where the choice is even bigger with an incredible buffet.

Staff and service: staff are truly nice, some may not speak English to the extent that you could have a conversation with them, but they all do their best, they are very accommodating and thoroughly nice. I left my iPhone charger in the hotel when I left and they sent it to me in London!

Swimming pool: to be fair, despite having a lot of loungers, it gets pretty full up and it canbe hard to find a space, but when you see it you'll understand why. James Bond territory, above above on the 11th floor (or thereabouts, can't remember exactly), infinity pool with amazing views and once you get in, you'll find hard to leave the hotel.

Location: near the biggest artery in Bangkok, where traffic jams occur daily, but linked to the MTR. You may think, why would I take public transport in Bangkopk where taxis are so cheap? Because Bangkok gets the worst traffic jams of any big city I have been to. Direct access to the MTR is not just a 'nice to have' is actually a 'must have' which will make your life much easier. Tip: catch the MTR to get as close as possible to where you have to go, get out and take a taxi. Good luck with taxis! Taking a taxi in Bangkok is one of the most stressful things of any holiday I have ever taken: drivers do not want to switch the meter on and when they don't it is not unlikely to be overcharged by 3/400%, so before you can get into a taxi you often have to stop 5/6 or even more to find a driver who will actually agree to switch the meter on.

Hotel: it is beautiful, amazing reception area, lots of staff always around, what can I say, I have stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels in Asia, but whilst this is not the Four Seasons, the quality you get for the price you pay is unbeatable. I have reviewed basically every single 5 star hotel before booking, compared reviews, prices, room size and amenities, location and have not found anything better. Stayed in suite at the Lebua Tower last time I was in town, which was good, but in no way comparable.

Tip: there is a spa in walking distance from the hotel, I think it was called Health Land, not a charming spa, more of a hugely busy treatment spa, but don't leave without going for an hour long massage which costs a ridiculous price, you'll fall asleep on the big leather chairs in the air condition room, it was just amazing!

Room Tip: Trust me, book a suite with Club access!
