A modern hotel with the skytrain in front of it. The hotel is not in the hidtoric center but with the sky train it's very easy and fast to reach any part of the city. Not noisy at all. The rooms where pretty modern, new and clean. The breakfast(we thought it was included but we had to pay for it so check it first) was the widest one I've seen: occidental food, fruit, thai food, bakery anything you can imagine for a breakfast! The area was not the best, we went walking to a near restaurant for dinner and we were a little afraid at the begining because we found some homeless people sleeping literally under the bridge. Apart from this our two nights were perfect!

The Eastin Grand was without doubt one of the most lovely experiences I have made in Thailand so far! My holiday in Bangkok this year was more amazing and memorable than ever - partly due to my stay here.

My sister, a friend and I resided at the Eastin Grand in July for 6 nights. The arrival to the hotel was a pleasure in itself - the hotel lobby being beautifully designed and very chic. On arrival we were kindly escorted to the check in area and our luggage was taken care of immediately. The check in process took no longer than 5 minutes and we were directly guided to our room.

We had booked a Superior Room which was located on the 16th floor - and the first impression while entering was simply priceless. The view is absolutely breathtaking, by day and by night... The room itself was beautifully kept in a modern and elegant design - we had absolutely no critique what so ever.

The principal highlight of the Eastin Grand is definitely the infinity pool located on the 14th floor. Offering an exquisite, panoramic view of Bangkok city the pool was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some refreshing smoothies and snacks (all of which were absolutely delicious, by the way!) The lounge area around the pool provides numerous seating options and loungers, while the most popular "shell" type loungers were occupied most of the time. In general, it did get crowded during the mid day but the afternoon was always more relaxed. One should definitely visit the pool by night - the view is simply dreamy!

The quality and variety of the breakfast was great - from asian dishes to western breakfast, freshly made eggs and pancakes, the hotel does not really leave any wishes unattended. Also, the staff was absolutely lovely and attentive - and this applies to the entire Eastin team!

All in all, our stay at the Eastin Grand Hotel was simply amazing - we will definitely come back next year!

We upgraded to executive level after reading reviews. Proved well worth it as we made full use of drinks and canapés each evening as drinks and cocktails were average price for 4* plus hotel.
Pool area is also great with nice views but a bit too busy sometimes
Had excellent night sleep and was very handy for train to everywhere as direct to platform from floor 3.
All service was great and special thanks to the pool staff, concierge and the Belgian guy, John. They were all very helpful and perfect finish of a wonderful holiday in Thailand!

We stayed here in July for 3 nights and we were not disappointed. The hotel is excellent value for money.

We had a great time at the 14th floor pool with its loungers and bar serving good quality easy food. The view from here was great and was even better at night. It was a welcome relief after the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and my teenagers loved the cool vibe. The breakfast was also good.

This hotel is attached to the Sky Train making is easy to get around. One stop to the river for ferries and about four or five into Siam Square. The well run Sky Train has air conditioning so is a great way to get around.

Our rooms were very good and very clean.

We also ate at the Blue Elephant next door which was super although and Cabbages and Condoms which was good fun and quite reasonable.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a short break in Bangkok.

Simply nothing that wasn't 5* in this hotel. Absolutely perfect, the staff in particular were wonderful. Would highly recommend and fantastic value for money!

Don't miss Luce on the 14th floor for a great Italian meal with an even better view.

This was my 2nd stay in Bangkok. Before I stayed at Eastin Hotel Makkasan and this time I decided to stay at Eastin Grand Sathorn. Everything was brilliant! The rooms are brand-new and the view is amazing. The sky train connection makes it very convenient to visit the highlights of Bangkok. Besides this I would like to thank Jonas the concierge for his information. He’s very friendly and offered to compose a trip to Kanchanaburi, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui. I had a great time in Thailand and will definitely come back again!
