I have been trying to get to Indian Chaat for several months, after reading all of the good reviews and the #1 rating. The food was okay but not the best Indian food in Bangkok. We did order dumplings - momos - which probably wasn't wise. They were chewy and lacking flavor. The naan bread was tough. However, the curries were very flavorful.

I didn't try any of the sweets, which are supposed to be good.

It is a very casual and the staff are friendly.

The food was pretty average for an Indian, definitely not the best I've had. It's a bit tricky to find, not exactly on any main soi. Don't get me wrong, the food was fine, but i don't think it deserved the Number 1 rank it had on here at the time and probably no need to rush back (there are plenty of just as good or better Indians that on the main road.

However, it was nice for a quiet afternoon lunch: simple, clean, relaxed. The curry did taste good and the meat was tender. The flavour of the rogan josh was unique; it didn't taste like any other curry i have had. (in India or elsewhere.) That could be seen as a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it, but it was tasty in it's own way.

I found the food to be below average for Indian food in Bangkok and price a bit high for what you get. There are few others that have better Indian dinning options in the city, not to mention other cuisines.
Other than that....plastic chairs, thats not food but was expecting better as honestly I went there because of reviews from Trip Advisor but I really dont get it again.

When you pull up outside and you see this place you feel uneasy. Trusting its number 1 rating I ventured in. The decor is cafe at best with plastic chairs so be prepared. There are 5 tables only seating 4 to a table. There are about 5 waiters so the service is outstanding! The quality of food is unbeatable, it is outstanding Indian, better than the best in brick lane London. This is an Indian family and i am told they want to renovate, good idea! We had a feast for 3 people. Chicken tika pieces and pakoras with popadoms with Chutneys to start, we had chicken Masala and an asortment of prices along with potatoe aloo. We also had a delightful chicken with cheese sauce very mild, there were bottles of beer, soda waters, we finished with coffees and a beautiful small desert each. 2000 baht the whole meal and drinks for three. I have tried countless Indian restaurants in Bangkok and they cannot beat the quality of this place. Never judge a book by its cover
