The room was spacious and very clean but anyhow it was decorated in a pretty simple style. Room doors were paper thin and, therefore, noises may be heard from corridors. We didn't and there was quiet all the time. Drinks in the minibar were pretty cheap, which was a positive surprise.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We even got "a lunch bag" for breakfast because we had to leave so early.
The location was good and bad at the same time. The first time, it was really hard to find there, but then when we knew where it is located, the location was quite good nearby old town's attractions.
However, a good place to eat was pretty hard to find in surrounding.
There was a safety box in the room but it wasn't bolted anywhere and it was so light that it was easy to carry. Not very safety.
WIFI worked well and was fast.

Nice staff, great location near khao san road, good breakfast and clean rooms. Our room had two airconditions, which was nice. Bathroom basic, but clean Staff spoke English quite well. As summary: Nothing special, but decent Value for money.

Clean place to stay in Bangkok, quiet and large room. Staff are kind and can help you if you want.
Comfortable rooms and clean and quiet. Breakfast is good and generous, you can start your day with it. Near Old Bangkok and Khao San Road, Great Palace.
Good value and you have some restaurants near the hotel and easy to get a Taxi or Tuk Tuk.

Stayed here for 1 night in dec 2013. my first day travelling in Asia was made easier while staying here. Although down a quiet unpleasant back street it's a great location for lots of the main tourist attractions. I paid under 30gbp for one night and was satisfied with the room.
I stayed at other hotels in bangkok in this area and none where as good value!!!

We chose this hotel for our two-night stay in Bangkok based on a combination of location, price and previous reviews; we were not disappointed. It sits in a back street away from the noise and commotion of the main roads and so is pretty quiet and allowed us some much-needed rest after our long journey. The rooms are extremely spacious with separate sleeping, lounge and bathroom areas; our room even had a porch-type area with it's own air conditioning unit and seating. The staff are lovely: courteous, helpful and welcoming. Khao San Road is walkable within five minutes and numerous other highlights including the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Chinatown can be reached by taxi or tuk tuk for a few baht. If you're looking for somewhere clean, well-priced and close to rail links and numerous attractions, this is your place.
