This hotel is right next to the Bumramgrad hospital so very convenient if you are going to the hospital for treatment, or visiting relatives etc. walk out the hotel turn left and there it is. Could not be more convenient and a walk away from all the action

Short walk to hospital, rooms clean, art work around hotel gives a quirky feel. Lock and AC had to be repaired whilst we were there, but responsive service men. Breakfast could have been better, but we weren't staying for the food.

We spent one week in this hotel and chose it due to the fact that the hotel was just opened and therefore not so worn as some other hotels in that area. Indeed, the room was clean and fresh. However, there were some things in the bathroom which I would consider as construction failures such as a leaking sink and a loosely mounted lavatory seat. This hints to superficial management oversight.
This hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel. However, there is no pool nor is there any fitness room. The breakfast was surprisingly good - ranging from hot dishes to salad and fruit. Therefore nothing to complain about.
The bad rating of the hotel will be explained by the following experiences though:
The check took about 10 minutes despite the fact that we were processed by 3 staff members. Also, the staff was quite rude and seemed not to be adequately trained to work at the check in counter.
I read elsewhere that the hotel rigorously charges any missing items from the hotel room-they even have a price list for all room items in the room (I have never seen that before in any other hotel). Therefore we checked every day precisely the whole room (including the minibar) whether something was missing or incomplete after the room maid cleaned the room. Indeed, on one occasion the room maid did not replenish the towels and two towels there missing. Shamed be he who thinks evil of it. We complained at the reception and it took more than 30 minutes until we received the two missing towels.
The check out took again about twenty minutes. Actually they accused us of having replaced a soft drink in the minibar with a soft drink from a grocery. Of course we rejected the accusation since we did not use the minibar at all. When I asked to talk to the management but I was informed that there is no one (11 am) available. In fact, they gave me the telephone number of the owner instead. Apart from the poor english of the staff the whole process was quite annoying. Finally, they dropped the accusation of replacing the soft drink and we left.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. There might be other customers who give positive ratings for whatsoever reason, but our experiences were quite telling. If the hotel wants to be competitive it should massively invest into additional training of its staff!

If one of the (real) managers reads this, plase be so kind and send your contact details as to this account. Thank you!

Stayed here while i was in BKK for a Colonoscopy procedure at Bumrungrad hospital. The hospital is very close to the hotel (about a 2 minute walk) which makes it very convenient. The rooms are nice except for the see-through shower ( a bit awkward if you're staying with friends). You can close the blinds to the shower however.

My big complaint was the noise during the night. The air conditioning was loud and also the bathroom (after you flush the toilet). My fiancee slept through it all but I was quite annoyed by the ongoing noises. Also, there was no back-up roll of toilet paper which was quite annoying at 3am in the morning.

TV is good, heaps of channels, and reception and everyone is friendly. There are lots of little food places outside and a 7/11 50 metres down the street.

Room Tip: A quiet room!

We spent all told a couple of weeks at the Skyy Hotel. We found it to be a very clean, beautifully appointed, well managed hotel, with a very helpful and friendly staff. Both Tyrene and Tantawan were quick to be of assistance in whatever way they could. Their understanding of English was excellent and they made our stay a pleasant one. The hotel I conveniently located near the Bumrungrad Hospital and the BTS for excursions. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality hotel at a reasonable rate.

Room Tip: Just about any room is a good one! Quiet and very comfortable beds.

Our family of 3 stayed for over a week while receiving treatment at Bumrungrad, so we got to know it well. Very convenient for hospital patients, as well as a short (though slightly hairy) walk to the BTS for any tourist excursions. Bell staff was wonderful, always helping us with our wheelchair. We ate a lot of meals there, and the food was surprisingly good, though a little slow. We love Thai food so appreciated having Thai as well as western options for breakfast. Front desk a little unorganized in terms of giving consistent information, so make sure you get rates in writing. We like to be close to a busy street but not on it, so the quiet soi with great street vendors was perfect for us. You can also take laundry to the hair salon a few doors down from the 7-11, or do it yourself at a Quick Clean down a small alley halfway to Sukhumvit Rd. Also nice technology in the room where you can plug your iPhone/iPad USB into the wall and hook up your laptop to the TV (ask for the cable). One side note - really appreciated the thought put into the design aesthetics - color, motifs, lighting, shapes all mirroring the sky theme!

Room Tip: A child can sleep on the sofa/futon in the executive room without needing an extra bed.
