I booked this hotel for one night because of a late departure of my flight. I did not sleep there and only used it to take a shower. At check in the girls behind the reception were having their lunch and took care of my reservation while eating. I booked a single room ( no window ) and asked them to upgrade me to a double room ( with window ) which was no problem at all. The room is basic and so is the (open space ) bathroom. the bed seems to be ok. Black hair everywhere, shower extreme dirty. Never again.

Room Tip: check before if your room has a window.

This hotel is a fantastic location, right on sillom and just a 7 min walk to the BTS skytrain.
Rooms are basic but comfortable.
The only major problem is the cleanliness off the bathrooms.... There is NO cleanliness. You have mould, hair from old guest and no really cleaning of the wet area at all.

Room Tip: Take your own cleaning gear

I stayed here in October of 2010 (just before high season) and found the rooms to be very good for the price, which was just over 500 THB. They are small but clean, with good bathrooms and a solid internet connection. You occasionally feel like you're sleeping in a shoebox, admittedly, but the claustrophobia is quickly alleviated by stepping out the front door right into the centre of Bangkok. The proximity to Sala Daeng BTS station is probably the best feature.

Room Tip: All rooms are small, so save your money and book a single if they're available.

It is what it is...a bed, a shower, a toilet, a TV, a reasonable sized room

Stayed here for four nights recently and it is a no frills, friendly budget hotel that is central to almost everything you need. Two blocks from Patpong (Markets and Night Life), about the same ten minute walk to the MRT and BTS...downstairs for a massage or a feed...What more do you need?

Room Tip: Avoid Breakfast here and walk down the road to one of the street vendors...

Booked the hotel based on its price. Had a twin room which was big enough. The hotel is newish and has been finished nicely. WiFi was fast both in the room and outside. Computers also provided free of charge in the lobby. The bathroom didn't have a door (by design) and this would be uncomfortable depending on who you were sharing with. The air con in the room had a problem and would turn off after an hour or so and I'd have to switch it back on if needed. Breakfast was simple but adequate, tea, coffee, juice, cereal, toast and bananas. The hotel is set back off the main street and it was quiet. I'd stay here again.

I booked this hotel with the other reviewers comments in mind -a very no frills place. I had a single economy room, which had a large bed, a tv, a mini-fridge, a safe, and a bathroom with no door to separate the two spaces. Actually, the shower in my room and the others I noticed have a frosted glass partition between the shower and the bed which could get awkward depending on who you are travelling with. No kettle or hair dryer in my room. Breakfast is cereal and toast, if that matters to you. There's no restaurant in the hotel. There is wifi in the rooms, which worked just fine on my ipad. You can print using one of the computers downstairs.

The good: Incredibly close to Silom Soi 4, and 2. Great neighborhood if you're planning on partying at DJ Station or a drink at The Balcony. The main street is busy till all hours with restaurants, people, movement, which means if you get back late there's never that eerie feeling of being all by yourself. Short walk to the Sala Deng skytrain station and a 10-15 minute walk to the Oriental wharf where you can catch the Chao Praya Express to several historic sites. There's some good food to be found in the area as well, the Rough Guide to Bangkok lists several.

The bad: Ants. A line of ants underneath the pillows in my bed one night. Ants in a clean towel placed on the bathroom counter. Ants got into my vitamins in a sealed container. The staff cleaned them each time, but I'll never forget that feeling.
