This food court has become our regular place to eat whenever we are in Bangkok. Located in Soi 7 the food court is a gastronomer's delight. And Marielda stall is the one to look out for!! Food is fresh, service is quick and the prices are reasonable. A must go!!!

In over five years of of visiting Bangkok, I have always had great food at the Food Court. Mind you, I know my fish and have on occasions gone elsewhere if the fish was not fresh, but if you pick sensibly and have your fish bbq-ed with garlic and lemon grass or fried, there should be no problem.
Yes, the place is a frequented by expats with their short-termgirl friends - and has a wonderful katoey waitress, it has a certain charm. It is not cheap compared to street food but far cheaper than the fancy restaurants in the area

Not recommend this to visiting friends as there are much better and cheaper eateries to be had. The noise from the roadside traffic and the pollution is freaky, they attract a lot of foreigners in their open-air setup. The plenty of hookers in the neighborhood drag their sugar-daddies here for kickbacks by the vendors on overpriced seafood dishes. With a prime contact location (beer garden) being located just across the road, there is a steady flow from there. Also watch purses, bags and cellphones, snatchers are very opportunistic in this part of town. The vendors here do not offer a large assortment of regular priced dishes, but a lot of expensive meals to be consumed on folding chairs next to a busy road. Drink prices exceed restaurant levels on beer and wine.

We pass by this place all the time, but have only eaten here once. The ratio of tourists to residents should give an indication of the value. There are several other places that overcharge for so-so stuff for your stomach. That does not make this a mid-range option - it just puts it into the category of - look a bit harder, enjoy a lot more.
