We came here on a recommendation of a friend without knowing much about the restaurant or the menu. The food did not disappoint. Highlights of the meal were the veal cheek, a rice dish with garlic and mushrooms, and the ice cream. The ambiance was great; the staff was attentive and greeted us by name. The location was a little secluded and is a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. We booked too late but try to get a table upstairs if you can!

A truly spectacular dining experience, any lover of Thai food has to try Issaya at least once. Brightly decorated with an equally interesting menu you can find tied-and-true Thai dishes that you know and love as well as other items you may not have heard of before. Expect to be blown away by the amazing service and food — I highly recommend the Khanom Krok, it's so delicious you'll want to cry. Come for lunch if you don't want to fight over seats!

Away from the hustle & bustle of Bangkok's main part of town, Issaya a great place to have dinner, especially at their outdoor patio. It's perfect way to cap off the Bangkok day. We opted for the "cheaper" tasting menu and it was MORE THAN enough food. There were multiple stand-out amongst the tasting menu but for both me and my boyfriend what really stood out was the lamb shank! We couldn't stop eating that...even though we were both so stuffed.

Though it of course was pricy compared to Thai standards, we thought it was fairly cheap for a tasting menu and offered a substantial amount for a tasting menu - the main courses were not just one bites :)
