I love this place, i try to go every few weeks as it reminds me of home. I recently took my friend from leeds and she had sausage and mash and i went for the ribs, both excellent. Also they like to hand out homemade sausage rolls on friday nights (not sure if this is every week but happened the last 2 times i was there). There is also a happy hour. What's not to like??

We visited this pub a couple of times during a recent trip and found it to be welcoming enough, cool and with a decent selection of drinks.

The service was reasonable and, although we didn't eat here, the food we saw looked very appetizing.

It was a welcome change from the "mall" style of bars found in Bangkok.

Hey it is a pub! Happened into the Black Swan while visiting Bangkok and they had the Formula One race on and offered a number of imported beers. The crowd was predominantly impats or tourists although some appeared to be entertaining the local female talent.

Service was not great but was not terrible. Had a nice chat with another English speaking traveler and that is always a nice break.

Did not eat so can only testify that the beer was cold.

Went there late in the night for a last drink as a nightcap and wind down from a massage.
Upon entering the pub, i suddenly found myself transported to jolly ol England.
The decor of the pub was authentically true right down to the fireplace. If you miss the news back home, daily newspapers are available, and I'm not referring to the Bangkok daily. I had a good read of the days' Sun and Sunday Times, printed off the website.
On tap, Guinness, Kilkenney and Heinekken and Tiger was available on tap. The bar also had an extensive choice of whiskeys.
Next time, I'll try the food.

A diamond in the rough. Great food, large portions and great value. Proper pub grub with all the extras. Also do a mean cup of scald (tea)
