this place was a great base to see the sights!
it was somewhat hard to find, down a dirty alley off another dirty alley. good thing is, its withing 300m of the tallest building in bangkok.
to find it, its down a street where there is a mcdonalds on the corner.
this place is apparently directed at asian turists (jap/chinese), because there was one english tv channel (aljazeera! woo!) the rest was jap/chinese
comfy little room, clean, good wifi, and across the road from shopping centres! we spent 2 days just walking around shopping centres going wow (same same, but different ;))
breakfast was a little different, and not eating seafood or egg (i know, why thailand, right?!?) i was left to chocolate milk, dodgy croissants, and cerial. but thats ok, because all the food you could want is on the alley and main street off that.
close to the ever present 7/11's (3 within throwing distance). no food in rooms though???
i do recommend it, if, like us, you have a couple of days at the end of your trip and need to get some shopping done..
ps. dont eat outside or hang around for any period of time... just over the back fence is what appears, and smells like, and open sewer. serious, just look out the windows if your on the alley side of the hotel.More
