Arriving at the location is extremely challenging for any taxi driver and the surroundings are disconcerting, the sewer nearby and stray dogs make you feel uncomfortable. Getting out, no taxi wishes to pick up at the location.

The interior itself is amable but looking closely, the cleanness is more than questionable. People will be sleeping in the common areas and though the decor is modern the area is depressing. At the time of my stay there was construction on the common area and pieces of metal and materials were all around. No warning from the hostel staff. The laundry room is the same as the spot the unisex toilets and it smells, making it very hard to stand but its the giant roaches creeping trough the floor and even in the hallways what added to the bad experience.
Dinner was not easy task either, the receptions suggested a 20 minute walk to the closest fast food restaurants or a delivery call which she wasn't willing to help with. Luckily I bumped into the night market an 8 minute walk out of the labyrinth where this hostel is located and was able to buy some fruits.

There are plenty of maps and brochures with helpful info for you to pick up, however the staff was indifferent (perhaps there are others more friendly) and seemed annoyed with any questions.

The female dorms are 4 flights of stairs up and there is no lift, so traveling with heavy bags is challenging and no one will offer to help.Getting out as I mentioned earlier was as difficult as getting in, the manager first unwilling to help later took pity on me as she saw my big suitcase and sent a motorbike to fetch a taxi, a deed which i was charged for with out warning but i happily paid for since I count wait to leave this place.

I went for the experience, and while yo can't beat this deal, you certainly get what you pay for and less. If you don't mind scary streets, large bugs, smells and intimidating surroundings, this place will do. But Id say its not worth the hassle.

Room Tip: Perhaps the only tip is ask for a room not facing the street, at least it will be quitter and have a...

We had a private double bed room with my boyfriend. The building is well maintained, clean. The public areas are small, but have very nice atmosphere. The price is very reasonable. We stayed 3 nights, and after 2 weeks around Thailand we went back after a 16 hours long train trip. We only had a few hours till our flight, and we desperately needed a place to have shower and chill a bit. They let us use the shower and they did not accept any money for it! It was a great help! I think it is not regular that they could do it, but it was a huge help for us. If I ever come back to Bangkok as a backpacker, I will stay in this hostel for sure!

The hostel is pretty difficult to find, especially if you are in a taxi in the middle of the night. So make sure you have their number so the driver can call them. The whole area was a bit dodgy with no shops or restaurants around. Still just few minutes walk from the hostel there is MRT and within 5 minutes you can get yourself to Asok, the Sukhumvit area where everything is available. If you dont travel light, ask for a room on a lower floor! There is no lift and carrying 20kg luggage to the fourth floor is really annoying. The rooms were ok, although reminded me a bit of army lodging and there were some small ants just next to my bed. They have really good information board in the reception area where you can find anything you need about BKK. Fridge, washing machine and kitchen available. It was livable for few nights but you can do better in BKK.

The team was always ready to give us tips and help with cabs, food delivery late night and others.
The atmosphere is cool and with a sense of community.
The kitchen is very complete.
Close to the MRT (metro).
Close to a night market.

Bad Wifi.

Not far from a MRT station and the Lumpini Park / Stadium but a little bit lost in the middle of nowhere.
Rooms are clean and with locker for everyone.
The sliding window was broken and the staff couldn't repair it so we had to fix it by ourselves. You have to pay 30 baht if you want to have towels...
The staff was smiling and answered our questions.

That place was a bit hidden but there are a lot of signs which show you the direction. We had a Double Room with it's own Bathroom. Which was not that clean but ok. The Location is ok the Subway takes you in 15 min to the centre Bangkok. Station is 5 min next to Hostel. A big plus is all the service they had: Plenty of Information where to go, you can always ask the reception for further information and you can leave your luggage there for longer periods. In Summary I would recommend that hostel. We booked there another stay.
