Review of 21 Living Place
4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 5 Oct 2013
I've been staying at 21 Living Place for both longer and shorter periods of time during the last couple of years. I keep on coming back to stay because of the location, cleanliness and the very friendly atmosphere including staff (cleaning, guards etc.), management.and neighbourhood.

I have been living and working in Bangkok for more than four years, of which time I have been living at 21 Living place for approximately three years.

I have found it to be a very comfortable place. The rooms are a good size with good quality amenities, which are very conveniently cleaned three times per week. This ensures the room is clean and comfortable throughout the week.

The building is five stories high which allows for a friendly atmosphere between the guests and the staff. It is much more personal than many large condominiums you find in Bangkok.

The staff; management, maintenance and security have always been friendly, helpful and courteous. It is nice to stay in a place where the staff whish you a good day in the morning and greet you with a smile at the end of a work day and are always willing to assist you with any problems or issues you may have.

The facilities are very comfortable for a stay, including very good security into the premises from the street and within the building itself, washing and drying machines, a comfortable lobby where you can use computers, search the web and do printing if you need.

The location is great, very convenient to the BTS, Century Mall and of course the famous Rangnam road that has some of the best and most famous cafes in all of Bangkok.

It is also centrally located in Bangkok itself, making it very easy to travel to just about anywhere in the city, whether it be the shopping malls such as Paragon, MBK or Centralworld, old town Bangkok, the Sukhumvit area or even for an afternoon at Chatachuk markets.

I have recommended 21 Living Place to friends an family that have travelled to Bangkok, all of which have enjoyed the stay and several have returned multiple times.

I have no hesitation recommending 21 Living Place to anyone coming to Bangkok, for a short business or holiday trip or for a longer time period.

I stayed at 21 Living Place and didnt know about other long term serviced apartments. You can find many other buildings in better locations that provide a pool and gym for a much cheaper rate. I dont know why they charge so much when they have no amenities. In addition the owner is very unfriendly and borderline rude. There are many better options in Bangkok.

This place is decent value in an excellent location. It's tucked away in an alley off Soi Rangnam. Most of the rooms are newly renovated, though they're not quite as fancy as the website pics suggest. The staff is friendly and the place appears secure. You can find cheaper accommodations elsewhere, but overall it's decent value. The best part is its location near Victory Monument (and the great streetfood there) and the BTS (just one stop north of the convenient airport link at Phaya Thai).

I'm currently staying in this serviced apartment/hotel. So far the experience has been good. The staff are really kind and they greet me every time I meet them in the corridors and downstairs. The security is very tight, which is really good. The room is nice; it has a big bed, some furniture that include a big flat screen TV, refrigerator, kettle and a lot of drawers and cabinets. But it has no kitchen - not even utensils that you can use. The room is huge; big enough to put a sofa in it, unfortunately they don't have it. I love the windows because it can be opened and my room is perfect because the wind goes directly to my room. The only problem is the A/C can get really noisy in the evening and it's difficult to sleep. Since it's serviced, they clean the room thrice a week. They also have coined laundry and business center at the ground floor.

The apartment is also very close to everything - 5 minute-walk to BTS, less than a minute walk to 7-11 and to main road to catch a taxi cab. It's also very near to a park.

Overall, it's a good place and great value for your money.

Great place to stay overall. The staff are friendly and fun and the services are good. They don't have any restaurant but the location is superb near the BTS and there are also some local restaurants and shops around the area. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Value for money and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok.
