For more than 15 years, I travel about 3 months out of the year - I seen the best and the worst of hotels. Okura Bangkok is in the absolute best category.

I am an LHW member and trust the brand but still, the Okura staff exceeded my expectations. Visiting Bangkok for business but Koh Samui for vacation (on a 40 day trip round the world), Okura staff allowed my wife and to hassle free leave laundry and an extra suit case behind for 5 days to avoid lugging it to the Island. When we arrived back. everything was already waiting for us in the room.

The Elements and the hotel Japanese restaurants were great, Elements really an experience though, and the cappuccinos perfectly made at the Brasserie (very important to a caffeine junkie). Great breakfast. Will always stay at the Okura Bangkok!

Room Tip: we stayed in two different corner rooms to see different views of Bangkok

Delciously stylish, deliciously relaxed, delicious enjoyment!

Recently stayed here for one night, unfortunately.. This is a great hotel with fantastic service and a spotless and modern feel which still makes you feel at home!

Bangkok hectic? Not here.. Had an amazing room, spent two days wandering off in de city using the very nearby BTS station, soaking up delicious cocktails on the bar terrace located on the 25th floor overlooking the city, swimming in the gorgious infinity pool and enjoying the lovely traditional Japanese breakfast!

Just got back from a 3 night stay and had an excellent time! The location is fantastic right next to the BTS station which can bring you to all major attractions, if not, there's always plenty of taxis as the hotel's location is so central next to the Ploen Chit station - although avoid taxi transport in peak hrs as Bangkok traffic is amazingly BAD :)

The hotel is just a couple months old and everything works excellently! normally I would've expected them to possibly have teething problems with service and other minor things, but this was not the case at all - Staff were excellent, attentive and made the whole experience a great one.

The rooms were clean, spacious and had excellent design. They even had the Japanese style toilets with the heated seats and control panel! (Well the hotel is geared towards Japanese clientele so it should be expected from that point of view)

The breakfast spread is fantastic! Not in terms of abundance of choice, but in terms of quality!! I recommend to have breakfast outside on the balcony/deck as because the hotel begins on the 24th Floor - you get an excellent breeze, plus the deck is positioned on the side of the building that doesn't get the morning sun so you're not burning up - excellent views!

The lifts are very frequent and the wait time is hardly noticeable as from the ground floor the hotel has 3 dedicated lifts to the lobby on the 24th Floor.

Definitely stay there again!

Wonderful hotel! Our room was a large corner one on 27th floor w views of sprawling Bkk thanks to the life size "L" windows.

Buffet breakfast (included in room rate) was sumptuous at 'Up and Above'. It covered all possible options of breakfast & beyond :)

The gym, spa (tho very expensive) and Business Centre were excellent...

This hotel is one of the best in Bkk and the best LHW in the city :)

The hotel was only opened in May. It is quite different from the traditional Okura style. Very stylish and modern. Almost like a new Sofitel. It has a nice infinity pool overlooking the city. The gym is large but the sauna part is a bit small by Japanese standard. It is very conveniently located, right by the sky train station.

The service which start from when i got off taxi was excellent. Bellman help us carry the bag and escort us to reception. Check in was smooth. Room was nice and simple in Japanese way. Actually, i expect to see some unique design in new hotel.

We went to okura spa also. To tell the truth, spa was not so promt. A little bit small and limited of guest. Service of therapist was ok but the manner was excellent.

You can really swim in the swimming pool which was 25 metres long. And infinity edge pool get spectacular view of the city. the chair 's number has just only 6 chairs which was too small. Just wondering if the guest come to swimming pool over than 6 , what will the staff do.

Breakfast was good. There are some egg menu which cook by order and also buffet. Taste was so tasty.

In overall, this is excellent hotel. Especially service.
