Very close to the BTS, no need to worth about the traffic jam, raining weather if you want to go to the shopping mall. Comfortable room and the staffs are nice. That's the reason why so many people booking this hotel and make my check-in took more than I expected and I could not get a room at around 12nn, so I went out to have other activities and back after dinner to get the room.

We sincerely appreciate your kind review and thank you for this 5/5 rating. We do however regret that we were not able to check you in at noon when you arrived. Our very central location and easy access to the elevated train fortunately allowed you to make excellent use of your time and the first day with us. I and my team certainly look forward to being of service to you again in the not too distant future.
Yours sincerely

What a nice review and thank you too for noticing our bathroom amenities. We are indeed glad to work with Qi Pure on these lovely products that are all natural products which contain all pure and rare essential oils and we have been receiving raving reviews, not only for the products unique scent, feel and texture, but also for the fact that they contain no chemicals and we love to highlight that the packaging that we selected is fully recycled or recyclable, depending on the product. We hope to welcome you back for more!

Me and my sister to stay at this 5 star luxury by staying at PREMIER CLUB which pay expensive than the normal level for the right to Club lounge, my sister and had the accident, slip and fall in hotel bathroom. harmonic case to the hospital the first and only wheelchair patients and took my sister from a room hotel and just called Taxi ride to the hospital for us only without any staff or Lemousine's hotel (usually the emergency has to be taken to your vehicle or transmission not think we would have an explanation here. Not only brought a wheelchair down send us to public taxi. The Hotel just proposed late check-out until 6 pm, for what?).

During the past week we have been trying to e-mail this comment to the Hotel. Several parties, but did not get a reply back to any attention. So I want to warn those who want to stay and should be considered in order to access the service here. If you have an emergency occurs in schools. Whether you will stay in a luxury it. They are not conscious guests like you. And negligent in your comments.

Thank you for your candid feedback. There is nothing more valuable than our guest’s reviews, thus we take these comments very seriously. We extend a sincere apology from our entire staff that your expectations were not met. We are sorry for this mishap in the shower and as our hotel limousines were being used by other guests, as such my team took the decision that a short taxi ride to a nearby hospital would be the quickest and certainly the most sensible option. If you feel comfortable with connecting with us again directly, we would very much like to do so, to make certain we are following up on each aspect of your stay (samir.wildemann@okurabangkok.com). I do hope your sister was able to share the conversation we had with her since over the phone. Thank you once again for your feedback and we look forward to connecting with you. We hope that you have since fully recovered from your injury .

We spent 3 nights at the okura after researching a load of different places to stay. As we have previously stayed at this hotel group before in HCM and was very impressed last time, we decided to choose the okura. We stayed in the premier club room on the 33rd floor. The view was very nice and the room was immaculate! It was extremely difficult to find any faults with this hotel.

The room comprised of a large king bed with comfy sheets, the bathroom had a lot of amenities from bath salts to loofahs. The toilet is separate to the shower/bathtub area. The room is very well equipped as well. It has a complete set of stationary from stickies, staplers and scissors (very useful). Also the canned drinks (soft drinks and beers) were complimentary. The room has an awesome digital control to set different lightnings and alarm system, so you don't have to get out of bed to turn off the lights at night.

As for the service... It was impeccable! Probably one of the most service orientated hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff were very polite and welcoming. Also a special thanks and applause to the concierge on the ground floor. They were constantly enthusiastic to help and when we asked to go to local street food, they directed us with easy to follow instructions and we had the best dinner that night. They even asked us about the meal when we came back at night which was very kind of them.

The hotel is practically brand new and in the heart of bangkok. There is a bts (pleon chit) connected to the hotel so there is no need to walk onto the streets. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk to chit lom and centralworld which is convenient during rush hours and traffic. To Siam paragon the walk takes less than 15 minutes.

The facilities are very well maintained. A good sized infinity pool on the 25th floor and a huge gym next to it. The breakfast buffet was nice and selections were healthy. The Japanese bento box breakfast was nice and healthy as well. Good to have a choice between buffet and the bento box. We also tried the Japanese restaurant at dinner time and enjoyed it. The price was not outrageous but not much sushi is on the menu. The club room is well worth the extra. The staff are very friendly inside and refreshments are served throughout the day as well as drinks served in the evening.

When we booked the room we also mentioned that it was a special occasion and the hotel made an extra effort with roses in our room and brought us a cake and macaroons when we arrived. They also wrote us a card by hand which we thought definitely added to the five stars!

The ambiance of the hotel is relaxing and quiet. It is simple but classy. Definitely would stay here again and is suitable for leisure and business. I really enjoyed the stay and would say that this hotel is able to differentiate itself from other 5 star hotels

Room Tip: The club room is worth it!! Excellent service in there!

Dipping into the Bangkok 5-star hotel cookie jar is always a difficult choice: there are so many appealing places to choose from, at rates which are generally a bargain compared to many other parts of the world. So, for a recent 4-night business trip, I chose the Okura on the basis of its direct access to the BTS sky train (although the elevated walkway to the hotel building closes around 9pm), and a great deal offered by the hotel's website on the occasion of their first anniversary, and just because it was new to me. Plus, the rooms and facilities looked appealing on their website, and in that respect it certainly didn't disappoint.
I had booked a Club room, and the deal promised and delivered an upgrade to the next room type, which was a Prestige Club room, or similar. It was very spacious, and I couldn't fault any of the room fittings, furnishings or facilities, not to mention all the inclusions which would normally cost extra. The bed deserves mention as one of the most comfortable I've ever encountered. Nice large bathroom, good water pressure, and there were plenty of nice big towels. Also appreciated was a work-desk with lots of sockets at desk level, and complimentary broadband which worked extremely well, not to mention the adjacent mini-bar with plenty of tea and coffee options.
I sampled breakfast and evening snacks at the Club, lunch at the all-day restaurant (Up & Above), and room service from the on-site Japanese restaurant, Yamazato. All excellent.
Service seemed to combine the best of Japanese attention to detail and Thai hospitality, so no complaints there! In fact, house-keeping even spotted my futile attempts to get the provided pen working on the provided notepad, and replaced it with a working pen! A very minor item, but certainly appreciated.
As at least one other reviewer noted, the hotel interiors are slightly sombre (or is it sober?), using a mostly grey/black/brown/copper palate, but I found it attractive in any case. I'd happily return here if the location was convenient for work, although I still have fond memories of the incomparable Sukhothai, which remains my personal favourite.
