In general, I was really satisfy the stay in the Okura bangkok.
New hotel , room , swimming pool, restanrant is new and good service.

But some comment on the catering ,esp the breakfast in up and above, definitely it have a lot of choice of food in the breakfast and all the food's presentation is good, and the service of there is not point to complaint.
However, be honest, the taste among all food is just So So.... Non of the dish in the breakfast that can impress me.
The restanrant, is like other 5 star hotel have egg meun for choose, I have tried the egg benidict and french toast, but sorry both the rate from me is fail...expect improvement can do in the taste.
I've tried, the Japanese style breakfast, that is excellent!
The taste and setup of the breakfast is no different from the luxury Osen hotel in Japan.
During the breakfast, I was confussed for am I in somewhere of Japan or do I really in Bangkok !
Beside, i've tried the SPA. The treatment is excellent.
But again, there is no SPA price list in the room !
I've asked the conceige (after the service time of the SPA) to get the treatment list, but he said it only be avaliable tmr after the SPA open.....
Seems the business of the SPA is good enough...no need to have any promotion to the guest who stay....
I do recommend this hotel. the above is some minor point can be improved easily.

Thank you for your review. Guest feedback is the most important feedback we receive, thus we appreciate your observations and have shared your comments with our team.
Okura has been established since a long time in Japan and has certainly set their mark there; what certainly makes us stand out here in Bangkok is that we are able to share true Thai hospitality on top of this. The willingness and friendliness of our employees to show the true meaning of hospitality is something unique to Thailand and being able to share this with you at our boutique hotel is indeed something very special. It would be our greatest pleasure to welcome you back to our Hotel, where we combine Okura's rich service culture with genuine Thai Hospitality.
Thank you once again
Sincerely
Samir Wildemann

My experience with Japanese owned or managed hotels has not always been good (Waikiki) but this hotel is truly outstanding. Apart from the fact that no taxi driver we used had ever seen the hotel so we had to guide them. It has been open for over a year and everything still sparkles. The attention to detail is amazing: no need to bring power adapters because there are international power sockets in the room. Like tea? You can make a pot of cleansing Japanese green tea in the room or enjoy a filter coffee. The swimming pool and gym? Check the photos, it's all here. Breakfast would have to be the best I have had in 20 something years of visiting Bangkok, from the variety of foods on offer to the quality of the smoked salmon and ripe cheeses. Even a simple Eggs Benedict comes back as a work of art. Did I mention the coffee? They do an excellent cappuccino (which is still rare in Bangkok). Where they really excel is in the Club floors. I was able to compare 2 Club offerings this trip (Banyan Tree and Okura) and although the Banyan Tree Club suites might well be larger than Okura suites, and the Okura Club Lounge also seems slightly snug compared with the other, I think I would prefer to stay at the Okura. Service from Santiago and Susama in the Club Lounge was more than you could ask for, thank you so much for making us all welcome. I felt like you were looking after us in your own home at times, rather than at a corporate hotel. Maybe that's the difference: Okura Prestige Bangkok is not just another corporate brand hotel, it really seems like a family hotel to me and I enjoyed every day staying there.

We’re absolutely glowing – thank you so much for your very detailed review.
First and foremost, we’re delighted that you enjoy our talk of the town Breakfast Buffet, and only this morning we were reviewing items as there is always something new that is ‘cooking’. In our Bakery Sebastiaan and his team have prepared something very special and we can’t wait to share this with our clients soon.

I am thrilled too that you picked up on the tiny details that make The Okura Prestige Bangkok so wonderful. Santiago and Susama at the Club Lounge were especially happy to see their names standing out for the service they delivered and I must say that I am very proud of the entire team.

We greatly appreciate your business and fantastic endorsement, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon.
