Beautiful hotel, rooms breakfast, staff, everything spot on! My husband said that the breakfast gave him a wave of happiness - which I found quote odd, as it was banana oats!

The infinity pool is also amazing and fast access to the skytrain is really usefull if you are a business travellers.

Cannot fault this lovely hotel :)

Dear Sharlsutton,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on The Okura Prestige Bangkok. We couldn't be happier that you felt our staff made you feel so welcome and that you were able to enjoy your stay here with us! We are passionate about service and are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experiences. The 24th floor breakfast buffet overlooking the hustle and bustle of the city from above is a must-do, and we are more than pleased that you took pleasure in our food offerings - especially your husbands favourite, the banana oats! We hope that we have the honour of welcoming you back to our Bangkok Hotel soon and all the team is so pleased to note that everything was 'spot on'!
Yours sincerely

I have stayed in many hotels so far as im a trainer and got to travel a love. but the experience i had with Okura was way beyond what id seen before. from the very first step into the hotel to the last step out was a blissful experience. i must say that the staff were one of the most humble ones ive come across. I was not treated as a guest but as family i must say. I was to leave to pattaya and our pickup van was to arrive at 6 PM and thus we had to Check out at 12 as per the hotels norms. since we did not have much to do we called in and requested for a late check out and that was courteously obliged and was extended to bout 2 hours ..we then decided to check out and go shopping and our luggage was taken care of thill we returned and we got back at 4. we were still treated the same way as we were treated when we were guests..we were given wifi access allowed to use the pool area..water bottles.etc..and bout the water bottles they were available everywhere.

talking bout the rooms ..it had all the necessary stuff in them to make one feel real plush . and i visited all the restaurants in the hotel and i must say they were not bad either and not to forget the breakfast had everything under the roof ..

all in all you would not regret one bit if u happen to stay here.

good job guys all the best...

Dear Santosh D,
Thank you for those very kind words. We are a small hotel so our biggest competitive marker is the service that we can provide, and with you and your party we must have hit the bulls eye. I have taken the liberty to share your comments with our staff at our weekly meeting and they were beaming with pride. We hope to see you back in in the not too distant future, and until then safe travels.
All the best

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for my 21st birthday. Although we paid quite a bit for the room and it was only one night. We stayed on the 34th floor (top floor) and in the Prestige Suite. As we arrived we were greeted and taken to the Presitge Club Lounge where we offered a drink of our choice which they double checked our room. They gave me a personalised letter which included all the complimentary things; free cocktails between 5.30-7.30, free mini bar condiments, access to all areas, 3 pieces of laundry per day and many other lovely things to make our stay so pleasant. Once we were taken up to the room by the bell-boy we were in the exact room we had booked for so there was no hassle. I had a personalised hand written birthday card and cake from the hotel. In the room we had dressing gowns, slippers and everything to make us feel on top of the world (including the view)!! My name was even written on the television which had free movies and music channels.

The restaurants, the pool, the spa and the huge building itself was breathtaking! 5* quality in every room. The location is great, around the corner from the BTS station (sky train) and one stop away from shopping centres. Away from the protests which was good.

If your looking for a luxury stay in bangkok this is the place to go.
We travelled Thailand for two weeks and this was by far the most amazing hotel I have ever been too even in the world. The staff were extremely helpful too. And to top it off my partner proposed to me that evening in the restaurant.

Perfect stay.

Room Tip: Again, if you want luxury it may be a bit pricy but rooms on the 34th floor (top floor) which is the Prestige suite its the best room you can get!

Today we had a Sunday brunch at the "up and above" restaurant. We had researched it and it was supposed to be the "best" brunch in town. How deeply wrong that was.
It offers a buffet brunch at a) 2,700 Baht incl. soft drinks and b) 3,000 Baht free flow drinks and wine. When asking for the choice of wine, we were told there was only one - white Sauvignon blanc and one - red (no mention of any kind). So no choice. Main dish has to be ordered from a separate menu. 2 choices, and were told immediate that one of the dishes can only be ordered once.
Started with the buffet which was rather ordinary for our taste and the price it was supposed to cost. Cheese choice consisted of 3 kind of cheese.
But the worst was the staff, their uniform looked sloppy and not well kept. I highly recommend the management to re-train the staff, as we had to constantly asked for their service (take away empty plates, refill of water and wine, ordering the main course).
The clou was that after the official brunch time had passed for 10 min. we were presented with the bill, without having asked for it. That left us really bewildered and left a sour taste in our mouth.
Maybe the management could go over to the Kempinski and get some idea of what a Sundau Brunch of this kind has to look like and how the device should be conducted.

I will not return to this overpriced and under serviced "up and above" restaurant.

Dear MonikaD,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. The most valuable feedback that we receive is that of our guests, and thus we take your comments to heart. We are both dismayed and shocked by this feedback, as we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service delivered by a warm, caring staff. As this is more than out of character, I can assure you that it is being investigated by us. We extend our sincerest apologies for your dining experience, and we would be grateful to speak further if you are comfortable doing so; please email samir.wildemann@okurabangkok.com with a phone number where we can reach you. As well, should you be again in our area of town, we hope you will consider giving the restaurant a second chance. Great location, only a few minutes walk to BTS, very convenient to get around BKK. Hotel staff were friendlly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was nice and the spa experience was great! We are from Bkk but we definitely will choose the Okura Prestige for an in-town R&R if we don't have time to go out town. The serenity of the hotel, the view from the breakfast room and the spa certainly can make you feel rejuvinated. Highly recommended!

Dear Khun lalanaphotisathain,
Thank you so much for your review of The Okura Prestige Bangkok! Sometimes the biggest luxury is to escape home in one’s own city and be pampered in a hotel with a lovely dinner, thus we absolutely appreciate that you did just that.
In all our Okura Hotels were are proud of our Food and Beverage offerings and our motto is to provide best Accommodation, best Cuisine and best Services and every month we have very unique happenings on offer. Chef Hagiwara has prepared a special for the soon to come second anniversary of Yamazato, and I hope you will have a chance to try Chef Henry Jordan's weekly Food, Family & Friends event on Fridays at ELEMENTS.
We appreciate your business and look forward to hopefully welcoming you back very soon.
Sincerely
