“Friendly service, chic clean looking room, and great location!”

Stayed at the hotel for almost 3 weeks and loved the hotel and people there. The hotel is in a perfect location of Bangkok. Dean & Deluca is within the building. And there is a BTS station connected to the building as well. The gym is decent. There's barely anyone using it. Enough equipment and free weights to help you keep up with your routine. Infinitely pool overlooking Bangkok is also nice.

The room itself is modern, chich, and Japanese style. Breakfast had a variety of food. Staff at breakfast was friendly. Actually, staff there is all friendly. They bowed at you probably a million times. The club lounge has a beautiful view of Bangkok. The snacks and drinks are also adequate.

One thing I had an issue with was communication within the hotel. I was supposed to get discounts for drinks and food at the hotel's outlets (i.e. bars, restaurants, pools, etc.). When talking to the frontdesk, they said it should be noted in my account and the discount should be automatically applied. Well, as you frequent travelers know, that never happens. And indeed, it never did. Having to go back and forth with the hotel for just a 20% discount was exhausting. But I am a principle kinda guy--if you said it, you need to honor it. The hotel was pretty responsive to the complaint and apologized for the mistakes. But then, when I came back the following week, it happened again. So, I just gave up fighting the battle. Also, one night, I was stuck outside the hotel in the heat and humidity because there was a red carpet event. And apparently, they wouldn't let the guests go up to the hotel. Well, it would have been nice had they informed me in advance, like a note in the room or something. That way, I could have planned to avoid that time. Again, I think if the hotel improved on their communications to the guests and their own staff, it would make this hotel a perfect 5-star.

Overall though, it is a great hotel. Great location. Great people. The room is nice and clean. During the turndown service, they give you origami birds. So cute! One tip, do not get a room facing the BTS station. You can hear the traffic and train pretty much all day.

We value our guest’s feedback and we're delighted that you enjoyed our Hotel so much, especially after such a long stay away from home.

Indeed, we are so centrally located, surrounded by major embassies and being on top of the Park Venture Office Complex has several advantage such as benefiting of the direct train access, shops, a direct walkway to the recently opened Central Embassy Shopping Mall, and also the vicinity of many offices in All Seasons Place.
Thank you too for your input with regards to the way we managed some of the benefits that were extend to you during your stay and we have reviewed the way we manage this upon your departure last month. We do have now a more reliable system in place. I do apologise for the challenges you faced.

We hope to see you again soon at The Okura Prestige and we are very thankful for your recommendations and needless to say, we would be thrilled to welcome you back!

We spent a week-end at this hotel , which we chose because of it's amazing swimming pool and Japanse style. It's situation is ideal for shopping or nights out , the rooms are spacious and modern , very comfortable with amazing views. The swimmimg pool is unique , both by it's size and the views from it.We recommend the club facilities on 33rd flooor , and the Japanese restaurant. Service was impeccable. We would certainly come back.

this hotel is beautiful, it's luxury without being crass and over the top. super convenient location, good room service menu, and unobtrusively good service - we left an item in the room and only realized it when we saw it mysteriously arrived in a paper bag together with the rest of our luggage when we were leaving the hotel - the staff had picked it up and returned it to us without mentioning it. five stars plus one extra for service if i could give it!

it is my first time staying at Okura BKK, Prestige suite room, I like this room very much, every thing is new and clean. I feel like I stat at home. Staff at club floor is friendly, i like to have breakfast at Yamazato coz it is quiet and not too many people.

Room Tip: try high floor especially club room

the hotel is really expensive but its valuable .
the service is outstanding ~staffs are nice helpful. their bell boys truly willing to help us, and they are smart. its really important.
but only the morning breakfast need to wait for a long time. too many ppl with not enough seats. if the day schedule cant be influenced , will recommend to have breakfast in early morning (better before 9:30am)

I am however sorry for your breakfast experience as it certainly did not meet our usual high standards as the restaurant was fully booked, obliging you to wait for a table. A fellow traveller, a few reviews below, has expressed the same concern and it happened over the same week-end. It certainly was an exception and not our norm and I hope we have your kind understanding.

First time stay in this hotel ,good service you can see the staff smiling everywhere . and connivence location , amazing infinity swim pool and I love open 24 hrs gym house , I definitely to recommend my friends and Clients who visit to bkk , I will back again !

Absolutely perfect service, accomodation, food, location. I never write reviews but this hotel exceeded all expectations. From check in to check out everythin was outstanding. Absolutely worth every penny. Staff is great, rooms are spacious
