“Interesting experience but not the place to go many times”

It is the kind of place you go for novelty and curiosity. The food was OK, the staff tryng to do their best to convince you that it is an " out of this world" experience. A few days later saw in Bangkok the same restaurant "Dining in Darkness" with Thai food, but my curiosity had gone forever

“Food taste even better in the dark!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2013

A strange experience in a nice way..
Entering in the restaurant completely blind as it's very pitch black inside, the staff will lead you to your table. Being in the dark and unable to see anything, I felt I appreciate more of the taste and the texture of the food..

Nice food, nice music and great service.. and the staffs working here are blind as well :)

“Food not good but the experience is good!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 October 2012

If possible try and do this experience somewhere other than here. I'd done this previously in Berlin and found it one of the most enriching and amazing experiences ever, the food was fantastic. Unfortunately the one in Bangkok just doesn't come anywhere near that. The food was pretty bad, we hardly ate any of it and had to go out for dinner afterwards. The darkness was quite consuming though, and i definitely recommend the experience for anyone wanting to do this in Bangkok.

“Special Experience and Culinary treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 October 2012

I went here for my girlfriend's birthday and enjoyed it thoroughly. The concept allows blind people to have good jobs and at the same time it allows you to feel what its like to be blind. Theres absolutely no light and the menu is a surprise. It was a lot of fun trying to figure out what you are eating and how to eat it. We ended up using our hands a bit. The food was exceptional and when you leave you can see the dish.
