“Cheap and good airport pick up.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

This is not a resort. It is fairly new and is inexpensive. Staff are helpful. AC works well. It is close to the train lines and ponds. There is little around the hotel but the sky train the city is only about 1 km away.

This hotel is good only for an overnight stay and not when you want to go sightseeing in Bangkok because it is a bit far from all the tourist spots.
I was in this hotel last May 12, 2014 bec. our flight will arrive past midnight and then we will proceed to Phuket the next day. I book the hotel online, I choose this hotel bec. it says free round trip airport pick up. It was really a free pick up but you have to exert effort in looking for the contact person once you get there. Lucky for us because we find help in the Airport at the toruism booth after realizing that nobody from the hotel is waiting , where we ask for assistance to call the hotel and inform them that we're already in the airport. After 20 mins. we're already in the hotel. Only in the morning that follows that we found out that the hotel is inside a village but we don't mind it because we were proceeding to Don Muaeng airport in the afternoon where we were charged 20THB for a taxi call.
Anyway, the hotel is clean, spacious rooms but only few staff knows how to speak english well hence we encounter difficulty in negotiating with them.

I was traveling on a budget, but decided to treat myself to a nice place for a change. I have to say that the room was quite nice. However, the pool is not at all what it looks like on the pictures and it's at something what seems to be a parking lot (and there you are, hanging our in your bathing suit). But as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, there's not really anything else you can do or where you can go. I was hoping to get my laundry done before I would leave the next day, but it wasn't possible to get my laundry done in one day (this may count a bit high maintenance, but this was often no problem in many much cheaper places). Also, there was no free airport shuttle for me. Not exactly the experience I thought I would have.

Clean and friendly.

The hotel is near the airport. Chose this location as the central so we can travel within Bangkok by Air and be back from each destination without hastle. The Public Taxi from the airport is 200bhat, it may be less to the airport not sure as we didn't take cab to the airport directly. You can take the City Line Sky Train from Latkrabang to Suvarnambhumi , it costs approximately 65bhat for the train and cab ride there. You do not need to ask the hotel to call you a cab as there is a surcharge for that service, however, if you walk to the street there are always taxies going by you can hail before you even get to the main road. (the cab is approximately 45-50bhat, the sky train is 15bhat.

The staff is excellent, they took care of us really well for the nearly a month we were there.
Special thanks to Nikki and her husband for their hospitality.

Keep in mind this is not a tourist area, lots of locals hangout on the streets most of them do not speak English. The little eateries are really cheap in the area a plate of Phad Thai and most dishes are only 30bhat each. If you walk to the main road (On Nut Road /Latkrabang Rd), there is food market that has all kinds of Thai dishes, or the Paseo mall that has a lot more restaurants in western style with a variety of choices.

We mainly ate from the restaurant on the premises, each main dish is about 150bhat and well made. I recommend the Seafood plate with Goat peppers, which was our favourite. They do have more authentic Thai food here rather than more westernized ones you'd find at other restaurants.

Room Tip: We took the highest floor (4th), however no elevator.

We booked the nest boutique because it was inexpensive and close to the airport. We should have done some more research. We arrived from the airport and according to the website we got a free shuttle to the hotel. once we arrived at the hotel they charged us 150 Baht saying that only certain bookings got the free shuttle. We then wanted to walk around the area to find a conveience store. We got about 500 meters and turned back because we did not feel comfortable due to the large amount of stray dogs blocking the road. So we returned to the hotel and asked for them to call us a cab. There was an additional charge of 20 Baht for that.
The 2 days we spent there was so frustrating there were additional charges and hidden costs everywhere.
Here are some additional cons:
-Do not pay for the free breakfast during the booking, its cheaper if you just buy it in the restaurant.
-the location is terrible at least 5km to the nearest train station, 20 Baht to call the cab 40 Baht to get to the train station 30 Baht each to get to the city becomes expensive if you want to see the sites of Bangkok.
-Staff are not polite they just sit behind thier window talking and playing with their phones.
-Pool is small and in the middle of the parking lot.
The only reason to stay here would be a one night stop on your way out of Bangkok costs about 70 Baht to cab to the airport.

The location of hotel not convenient, especially if drop at Don Meung Airport.
It is not located nearby the main road, and not well known. Mostly need car for transportation going out.

Food served in their restaurant are not that good and over priced. No water dispenser provided, and no water boiler to cook hot water. Only 1 bottle of water given for each person everyday.

The swimming pool are not as shown in their website, don't be cheated by the photos. It is so small and like a bigger size fish pond only. The water are dirty and definitely no one will swim at there, or even sit there for sun bathing. The location of swimming pool also weird.

The view from windows and balcony of hotel room is not good. You only will see railways, abandoned land filled by some rubbish and some house beside it.

You definitely can hear the sound of train passing by. The room are normal, not that dirty, TV is small, and some rooms did not provide table and chairs. When at night, or using the washroom too often, the toilet will become smelly, untill the next morning after getting room service,

The ONLY GOOD about the hotel is wifi, the speed are quite fast and stable, may be just because not much people stay in the hotel.

Close proximity to the airport is great, service was great, free transfers to / from the airport were well organised & easy. Check-in and -out were friendly, efficient and fast. I wouldn't call it a boutique hotel exactly but in terms of an easy place to stay for a short overnight airport stopover it was a good option except for one issue. (I didn't explore the food options so I can't offer a review on that aspect.) The room was clean but the Mosquitos inside were an issue for me though they may not be for everyone. For this reason I wouldn't stay there again. If this problem was to be resolved I would happily recommend it but as it stands I wouldn't.
