We stayed in the King Bed Club Intercontinental not long ago and I must say, staff were 5-star quality: always friendly with a big smile and courteous. We usually have our 'usual' hotel we like to stay at in Bangkok but thought we'd try something different this time and Intercontinental did not disappoint! Staff made us feel very welcome, we had access to their club lounge which is open from breakfast to 11pm: Club lounge served tea and coffee all the time and also had allocated times for afternoon tea and complimentary cocktails in the evening: all with a view of course. Awesomesness! Location is ideal, short walk away from all our fav. shopping complexes and less than 2 minutes away from the BTS skytrain. Our room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy, bathroom was super spacious with a nice rain shower. Honestly have not a bad word to say about this hotel. Will definitely reccomend it.

Glad to be back in Bangkok especially after months of hectic travels and staying at the different IHG properties. I must say that this hotel makes you feel like home. Everything is well taken care of, from check-in to all the necessary needs.

The service from the lobby manager was excellent. She was efficient in making changes to my reservations and have arranged everything for the stay.

Breakfast spread is still one of the best!!

Highly recommended hotel to stay in Bangkok!

We stayed 2 nights at the Intercontinental Bangkok before going to Hua Hin. we choose this hotel for its proximity to Central World Shopping mall. The gym was fantastic very comparable to some gyms you get in Europe. The poolside was nice and welcoming. Some hotels in Bangkok have poolsides all day in the sgade but this one had a nopice view from 37th floor and nice sunlight im the late afternoon. The rooms are large and classic style, the reception area is average and classic style but we did not care for a hotel in the city.

This is my second visit to the buffet at the Intercontinental Hotel. When we visit family here, it's a great place to have a large family lunch. Very nice desserts and pasta bar with a reasonable price for a fancy hotel.

Thank Diane E

Despite changing hands from Starwood to InterContinental, this hotel and its services have retained their top notch service standards and quality.
The hotel is well-connected to all major shopping malls and is a stone's throw from the BTS station.
The ambiance of the hotel is welcoming and provides a nice leisurely feel (that is not overwhelming) to the entire stay and experience.
Overall a very very good stay.

Room Tip: Take rooms on the Executive Club Floor. You will not regret it.

I had stayed at this hotel quite a few years back when it was the Le Meridien. It appears that nothing has changed from the exterior of the hotel since then, as I remembered. My overall impression was "Good to Great". I love the fact that the hotel is next to everything, including shopping venues, the BTS train station, great restaurants, a 24 Hour McDonald's, and other hotels. All are connected via BTS train station walkway, and other upper level walkways throughout the area; you can even reach the newly renovated Central World Mega Shopping Complex via upper walkways that takes you directly to the Zen department store.

My room was excellent- large, clean and comfortable. The service was even better from what I remembered when it was the Le Meridien Hotel. The staff was genuinely friendly and eager to help with anything and everything.

My only gripe is that the Hotel Limousine Service was over $50 US One way.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

i spent 4 days and 3 nights in intercon Bangkok in Oct 2013. Someone have pre arranged the transport via the hotel and I arrived without any hiccups. The check in was easy and i was given a room on 21st floor. The room is large and spacious and some fruit was on the table as i came in the room. The breakfast quite reasonable selection but the cold section was a little bit confusing, the olive was too salty but hey...some people might enjoy it. What i enjoyed the most was drinking fresh young coconut during breakfast and it readily available.most things are good except.... i went to the concierge to ask for tailoring and they suggested few shops with brochures given..however the one i was sent to was not in the brochures and they charges too much but the outcome was not that great... (Penisular tailor)... i wished I was given a broader options by those at the counter....Another things that annoyed me was the toiletries in the room was not readily top up by the house keeping and I have to called up for it...the uneaten fruit was on the room table all the time I stayed at intercon and was not picked up and clean..
Check out is fast and easy....

Overall, i felt the stayed was okay but for the amount of money we spent at intercon Bangkok, i felt the service can be better...however there always are rooms for improvement...Location is very central and accessible to major mode of transportation including tut tut...
