I've stayed at IC Bangkok for 3 nights after having much doubts which hotel to select, due to the amazingly low prices of 5 stars hotels in Bangkok. The hotel is located in the main shopping malls area of the city and is conviniently connected to the city transportation system - having Sky Train across the street.
The service level is truely exceptional and the hotel staff takes the extra mile to make you happy.
The hotel resturants, while fairly expensive comparing to the city, offers great food. I've specially enjoyed all you can eat Dim Sum for around 600B (18$).
The room was very large offering great view of the city due to high floor, very comfortable bed, office table, and seating area.
I highly recomend the place. Only con was that during my visit there were protests in the city - and due to the central location - I was "locked in" one day without any taxi willing to take me or trains working.
