Parking my car rental was easy. Checking in was flawless and was given a personalized service by the front office. No hassles about my kids. Room was spacious, clean and had sufficient sleeping configurations for the kids. Room had an updated look, but there were signs of aged furniture and 90's bathroom. The retro fitted high tech toilet seat was it's saving grace.

Breakfast had a good variety and they accommodated my kids at no extra charge. Complained about poor wifi signal and they promptly brought up a wifi extender to the room. I don't get this level of service from 5 star properties I've stayed in.

The Thais love kids and this property demonstrates this value. Cant say the same for some other properties we stayed during this trip to Thailand. If you have 2 - 3 kids, this property will be right up your alley. The pool needs some jazzing up though but I have seen worst.

Room Tip: High Floor, corner units are in general better.

This hotel has a big advantage of location. Situated in the Business district of Sukhumvit, a lot of amenities close by in a walking distance (including Sky Train station). The room we got had comparatively old interiors, nevertheless the room was well appointed and very clean. Bathroom though not spacious, was good enough. The toiletries provided were minimal. The room situated on 29th floor had a great view of the road and sois. Absence of complementary WIfi was a big let down for me. The room service was quite fast and the staff was well behaved. The complementary breakfast was not so great with a small spread. Overall a good hotel.

The rooms are spacious, with all modern amenities. I was staying at 29th floor and the view of Bangkok skyline from the room was spectacular. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Good food and Spa is really refreshing. The location of hotel is a ++ point .

Room Tip: All rooms are good

I stayed 1 week for work and have no complaints.

Good points: The hotel is not new but sufficiently clean. The receptionists are polite, especially the lady in traditional dress. Although check-in is at 2pm, they attempted to get a room ready for us when we arrived at 11am and apologized when it would need about 1 hour (which was OK because we just went out shopping).

It's important to me so I appreciated that it was easy to get a nice water temperature and pressure from the shower. Breakfast was the expected standard of a good hotel and there are wrapped sandwiches which you can just grab and go (especially good if you need to leave for the office at 6.30am every morning). It's near a BTS station, a Naraya outlet, Emporium shopping mall (high end but with a nice foodcourt), and there's good street food just outside (try the pork soup and rice just to the right of the hotel entrance).

Points that some people may not like: TV channels are limited. Internet is not free and Wifi is very slow (checking email is OK but more than that might be difficult). Using LAN is faster but also not free.

The street outside is full of shady shops like bars and massage places. A colleague had to ask at a few places for a "normal massage" because most only had "special" massages. Although the main street feels safe to walk even at night, the shady shops may make a single female feel uncomfortable.

Also, the area is clearly for expatriates so in a way it's good (English menus & service available) but in a way not so good (everything at expatriate price & no "authentic" Thailand feeling).

Basically, a nice hotel but if it was a private trip, I would still choose a hotel like Arnoma Hotel, which has a more convenient location and lower price.
