We stay in this hotel for four days
Everything is more than five star
Most of the hotels in Thailand is free Internet but in this hotel you have to pay 600 bath for one day
All the rest is top Quality

Spent a week in luxury (despite the fact I was working) at this hotel and loved it. Excellent staff who can't do enough for you and make you feel truly welcome. The rooms are spacious, luxurious and the attention to detail is exceptional! I was there for a conference and I cannot recommend highly enough the conferencing team who could not have been more helpful. From unpacking boxes to checking that we were topped up coffee whilst preparing our meeting, the team were fabulous. The food was excellent and the pool service second to none. Oh and grab a massage at the spa if you can - very relaxing after a long flight!I can't wait to visit again.....oh and the sun shone and it never dipped below 30 degrees!

I have stayed at the oriental in Bangkok for a week every year for the past 5 years. There really is no hotel like this one. The rooms in the 'older' part of the hotel are not as modern - but that just goes with the old world charm that the hotel has.

The staff are amazing. Everyone remembers your name and your preferences. There is nothing like breakfast on the terrace or dinner at the Thai Restaurant across the river. I have never been disappointed by the spa. In fact for massages - you can even book via the Salon, stay on the same side of the river and have an amazing massage experience (for less).

Food is top notch. As is the service. If you are passing through Bangkok you must spend at least a few nights here.

but I'll keep doing so every time we visit, because the MO sets the benchmark for hotels everywhere. The colonial charm, glamour and luxury of the rooms and public areas are to be expected in such a hotel, but the jewel in La Grande Dame's crown is her staff, who seem to be on a mission to put all other hotel staff in the shade. At the MO your requirementsw are dealt with before you knew you had them. Come to Bangkok and be made to feel like royalty. There's no other place like the Oriental.

Elegant hotel, easy to get to on published transport form BKK airport. Short walk to nightlife and restaurants. Perfectly clean, staff extremely friendly and polite. Great amenities, restaurant and spa in hotel both lovely and well priced for the quality.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights , it was heaven we never wanted to go out , the rooms , food , pool , restaurants were first class . The staff were so polite and could not do enough to please you
The decor and upkeep was second to none
My only complaint is I had to pay for wi Fi , these days it is a given in the uk it is free in macdonalds but you have to pay in the mandarin , wifi is no longer an extra but a given
Regardless would deff stay again a bit pricey but in another league
Well done mandarin !
