This was our fourth stay at the hotel and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bangkok. From the moment we arrived we were given first class friendly service, unequalled dining experiences and hotel facilities. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city we experienced peace, tranquility and friendliness. Although it was a short stay, the staff addressed us by name and nothing was too much trouble. We used the hotel facilities and felt relaxed, despite the long-haul flight. Our highlights were the breakfast and dinners on the terrace, the pool (with the unexpected foodie treats) and the cocktail party in the Author's Lounge - a chance to chat informally with the management and staff while indulging in divine cocktails and a selection of food from the various restaurants. The whole stay provided us with the perfect start to our 25th Anniversary Holiday in Thailand. Thanks to all the management and staff for providing us with such a memorable stay. We'll be back.

Wow, What a hotel. Expensive but jees well never ever forget the service. Everyone remembers your name, no request went unfilled. Everyone knows where you came from where you're going and just seem to know you and want your stay to be perfect.

We stayed at the Marriot in Singapore after Bangkok. Same price but such a let down after this hotel.

Room Tip: I would expect that there is not a bad room in the place.

I stayed at the hotel twice before in the 90's and wondered what it would be like now, I was concerned as sometimes when you go back it is never as good as before.
I need not have worried, I was greeted at the entrance as a long lost friend, and this level of service continued throughout my stay. Nothing is to much trouble. Set in a great location by the river, we had a room with a river view. Breakfast daily overlooking the river is a must before you battle the streets of Bangkok. Several restaurants within the hotel which make a nice change from the many restaurants located close to the hotel.
Finally, the hotel is steeped in history from times past, lot's of famous guests and residents from yesteryear, this in itself makes the hotel worth visiting.

We stayed here on two separate occasions in March and were simply delighted with the time we had there. From the moment we stepped out of our car, check in (swift and professionally handled) , our room with a magnificent view of the river made us feel at home instantly. We had chosen a colonial suite as the intention was to " scour " the city of its sights and sounds. On our return a generous amount of greetings making you feel at ease. Breakfast on the river side and the lovely settings accompanied by a rich choice of tempting choices are worth trying. My wife fell in love with the Apple Pie which would win any competition and we asked and received the recipe from the Chef.
The pool was a wonderful setting to retire after a days trip of sightseeing and to say that we were given a service here that was mildly put exquisite.
All in all a truly lovely place to stay and enjoy a great experience.

Room Tip: Try the Colonial Suite and get a true atmosphere of this magnificent hotel

Visited this hotel several years ago and was truly wowed with the level of service the quality of the rooms and the overall beauty of the hotel. Thankfully, nothing has changed We arrived in the early Am and the hotel graciously made our room available. The lobby of the hotel is notable for the decor of beautiful teal bells and many of the rooms overlook the river.
Enjoy a cocktail in the evening at the riverside cafe or dine in their gourmet restaurant, La Normandie. This is an excellent property at the top of its game.

This was my first stay at the Mandarin Oriental in so many visits to Bangkok. This hotel has to be one of the best ones i have stayed at not only in Bangkok but also anywhere else in the world. The room had fantastic views an a sheer luxury experience from the bathroom to the bed. The hotel has several nice restaurants but the rooftop restaurant is a must visit.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the MO Bangkok. It is a stunning property only made better by very dedicated staffs who truly works to ensure your stay is trouble free.
Food and beverage were exceptional – we spent many wonderful mornings eating breakfast on the veranda watching the boats go by – simply wonderful.

The SPA and Gym are on the other side of the river from the main hotel, but the MO makes getting there an adventure by providing water taxis staffed by a great crew. They also shuttle guests to the Sky Train station.

I can’t say enough about the staff. I was working during this trip and my wife flew in from the States. Michael looked after her and made sure she was picked up at the airport and check in. A super example of customer service!

The MO Bangkok is a place where wonderful memories are made. Go and enjoy!
