I noted on an earlier review that as a regular(ish) guest I thought the service had reduced a little. I was pleased this service had largely returned to usual on my most recent stay.

The facilities here are excellent with large pool, great gym, separate mens & womens spa area and one of the best hotel spa treatments I've had in Thailand.

The hotel is great, the staff are also great but to continue getting the kind of rates they get I think they need to touch up the hotel rooms a little as some are looking a bit tired with wood chips, etc.

This hotel is pitched about the normal '5 star' in BKK so needs to continue to deliver extraordinary service to match the rates.

My company just selected the hotel and to my surprise I had one of my best experience there. I stayed there for a week with my family in executive suite. The room is spacious and well designed. They were having free wifi, fruits, chocolate & drinking water which suggest that they understand the basic necessity of a guest. The staffs there are really great and I had many direct experience where they exceed my expectations.

The food at hotel restaurants are good but price wise towards expensive side. Otherwise a very nice hotel with calm environment.

We had a lovely afternoon tea here. The restaurant was lovely and the food was really good. My 4 year old daughter loved the hot chocolate drinks and wasn't shy about asking for 4 cups of it to be made. The only slight criticism was that the sushi, and some cakes like the strawberry tarts were not replenished very quickly, there were a few empty stands at times but generally very good.

To say this hotel is bereft of atmosphere may be a tad harsh, yet that's my take. If you are a business person or diplomat, it's the perfect location, and a very serviceable hotel. If you are an expat in the region, it's a quiet spot of solitude, with traditional Thai touches - you'll love it. If you are a tourist looking for buzz, stay elsewhere. If you are like me, looking for a spot of Luxe on a stay- over, you may want to reconsider.

Room Tip: Beware the labyrinth! This hotel has halls for miles!

Very professional staff, great room service. I'd visit again, the location is great. Not my style of decoration, but well executed. The price is fair to what you get.
I got an upgrade, a bottle pf Champagne and chocolates for being on my honeymoon. Highly recommended

Five star all the way. For anyone to find anything negative about this hotel is beyond me. Remember this when looking at any reviews below a five because they are simply to be disregarded. The hotel and team were fantastic and exceeded our expectations on every level. The word "no" is not in their vocabulary and they helped us with absolutely anything we requested and in a timely manner. From the manager to the desk folks and especially the concierge they all bent over backwards to accommodate us with anything and everything. I would never consider staying anywhere else in Bangkok. The hotels location is central to the things we wanted to do and right down the street is Lumpini Park which is a great oasis to have a walk and coffee in the morning. We loved the Sukothai Hotel, all of its amenities but especially all of it's people.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room facing the pool, 5th floor and it was fantastic.

This hotel remains at the very top of the 5 star hotels in Bangkok, a luxurious gem in the centre of Bangkok with outstanding service befitting of the very best in the world and certainly the best Thailand has to offer; other hotels ought to take a leaf out of their book!

Another exceptional and extraordinary stay, remarkable management team, especially the kindness afforded by Dalin, Botan and Sompohl they provide an amazingly high standard of management and are extremely passionate about their work thus ensuring all guests are exceedingly well cared for - no stone is left unturned! They think of everything...

Sunday brunch is a wow, really good quality food and service, it's reputation is synonymous with the best quality in the city, but in my view 'takes some beating'

The Celadon Restaurant is excellent for authentic classic Thai cuisine...

Fantastic gym and pool facilities with personal fitness experts on hand at all times to offer reliable and professional advise. Khun Big always provides an excellent service around he pool...

Incredible concierge service, Wim, Nui, Toom and Dome are the best - thank you for all your help...

Very impressive indeed!
