we stayed at the Banyan Tree on our recent trip to Thailand for our 25th wedding anniversary
From the minute we were greeted at the front door to our beautiful meal at vertigo it was a special stay that i cannot recommend highly enough.
The suite was spacious modern and well appointed
All the staff were well trained, polite and could not do enough for you.
Well done to all and keep up the good work!!

Cannot recommend highly enough.

Superb hotel with fantastic staff. We stayed on the executive (club) floor with all the included extras. We were at the hotel on the gastronomic package and this was well worth the price.

Staff in the club area knew us by name within a couple of hours and even knew what we wanted to drink after day one! Good club area with snacks, drinks and canapes etc. Well worth the price difference for the room on this floor - just to be able to go and have a beer, glass or wine or a coke whenever you like. Did a similar package at the Pan Pacific the previous year but the gastronomic experience here was superb. Dinner at the Vertigo Restaurant - river cruise and supper on the Aspara all added to our few nights in Bangkok. Our flight was not till 00.15 but once checked out of our room the staff on the club floor let us wait in there untill our taxi came at 9 p.m.

Rooms excellent and all service excellent. My only gripe would be a minor one that the pool does not have enough sunbeds and is in the shade the majority of the day. However in Bangkok you are not generally there for the sun so I suppose this is really being a bit picky!!! Just would prefer not to have to worry about whether you could even get a chair in the pool area to have a drink and a swim come 3 p.m. when you fancy a cool off. Six of us travelling together made this even more difficult!

Would definintely book again though and am already looking to see if they might offer a similar package next December!!

Room Tip: Club Floor is a MUST!!!!

This hotel is gorgeous, tucked away from the busy main road, inside is serene and calm. Our room was on the 40th floor which gave us fabulous views of the city. The really jewel is the Moon bar, which although pricey is worth it for the mesmerising views oF Bangkok. There is waiter service, and even though its quite busy, it's great service. We would have liked to eat at Vertigo (the rooftop restaurant) but we didn't book in advance, and it was full. We did end up eating at their Japanese teppinyaki restaurant, which was fantastic. Gorgeous cocktails and food being cooked right in front of you wIth a view of Bangkok behind the grill, perfection.

The hotel run a free transfer to the nearest sky train or metro stations, which you have to book in advance with the concierge. The sky train is only about a ten minute walk from Banyan Tree, and is a great way to travel around Bangkok.

The breakfast buffet was incredible, with so many different options. Sushi, continental, Thai, Chinese, too many to choose from.

Overall we loved this hotel, a great base to explore from and a sanctuary to head back to after a warm day in the city.

What a shelter for anyone who had a long day walking and visiting the city!!
Everything is made to relax you there...
The room is great, restaurants are excellent, breakfast itself worth to wake up and start your day
Service is perfect, with smiles and details that make difference between a good and a great hotel!
We booked this hotel for part of our honeymoon and we had the chance to get an free upgrade in a beautiful suite with amenities
The view from the 2 bars (moon bar on top & latitude on 52nd floor) are great and the view... stunning!
the Spa and the Swimming pool are fantastic!
definitely a place to stay and go back!
a point to improve... maybe the location, quite far from the river and the places to visit...you definitely need taxis from there!

Room Tip: Definitely ask for higher floors if you can, skyline and city lights at night from your bed worth it

We have just spent three days at this hotel before flying on to its sister hotel in Ko Samui. This is an outstanding hotel in all ways. The only slight draw back is the position is in the Lumpini area which is the business district of Bangkok which is very busy and built up and not very tourist friendly. The nearest point to get anywhere is the Tascon? Bridge which is a cab ride away. But, apart from that the hotel excels in every way. Amazing rooms and unbeatable service in all areas. Restaurants superb especially the Thai on floor 52. Unbeatable!
