Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok
Ranked #39 of 896 Hotels in Bangkok
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 24 January 2013

I visited Bangkok again in last quarter of 2012 and stayed at the Grand Hyatt Erawan. Centrally located, its link by the bridge walkway to major shopping centres like Siam Central and also Siam Paragon. The hotel is pretty and have nice restaurants and shops. I liked the location. The rooms are comfortable but seemed a bit small. Enjoyed my stay and managed to use the bridge walkway effectively and avoided the intense Bangkok jam. At the corner of the hotel is a Buddhist temple, and one can also offer prayers and observe Thai cutural dances.

This is a tourist destination.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, stay on the Executive floor

I stayed in this hotel and got upgraded to a suite. The suite had a living area which was spacious but the bedroom was kind of small. The Hotel was doing some refurbishing but during my stay I was not affected by the noise. I was at the club lounge but the service staff looked like they were over worked and lack the warm welcome feel that you would received from the restaurant downstairs. The Hotel was in good location and close to Central World.

Super location but sadly very overpriced considering alternatives and rooms desperately needs upgrading. Great breakfasts.which one should expect at this price level.
The bathrooms really outdated and compare to 3 star Arnoma just down the road opposite central world which 25% of price of Grand Hyatt Erawan and highly recommended..

Room Tip: Try alternatives and save the cost.

Very nice hotel and in a great location, rooms ok are a little old but it is an old hotel so cannot complain lives up to the Hyatt standard, but I do have to say after visiting the hotel on a number of times the bar Spaco is disturbing it’s very clear that it used for prostitution and whatever anyone thinks about this sadly its clear the Hyatt group are aware and profit from this. Shame on Hyatt.

Stayed here for 5 nights. No doubt the hotel is expensive as the others in same area.
But the experience staying here is best. The rooms are ultimate and enough space for playing badminton in room. The continental food is superb. Very warm welcome and best hospitality.

Stay many times in the Grand Hyatt Bangkok and like it very much.
The staff is friendly and give good service.
Last time also some friends stay here for 1 night and they like it very much.
And when there are going things wrong ( like the wifi connection is not working for 1 hour) the friendly staff make it always good with something like a free cheque for food.
Of course during the renovation last year it is a little bit noisy sometimes but the staff tell you that in advance also on the website they tell you that, so i think people can not complain about this.
Overall this Hotel is very good and is an good place to relax.

Room Tip: Book an Club room and you get a lot of extra amenitys
