First of all the hotel is seriously buuuusy, crowds in lobby, busy restaurant,bar,but... The view is what i pay with no hesitation . We stayed in sky zone in junior suite and the patio was just breath taking. We could literally stay stray all day next to window and watch the panoramic city.
Breakfast so so,seafood buffet no wow factory, but room very space, large bathroom, huge bed, cant complain. for the price which is a bargain i would say you can not be wrong what's on offer with Baiyoke Sky

Room Tip: don't bother with the rooms below 50th floor ;)

I was very pleased with the buffet breakfast at the top of the tower. Anyone would not have a problem waking up early which such a view and wide variety of choices. I loved the bread selection and the coconut pudding. Best part of my stay.

We had no problems with the checking in and out process. The housekeeping lady was very friendly and nice too. However, we were disappointed by the poor and old condition of everything in the room. Only the bed was a plus point. Everything else was just outdated and it didn't have a class and comfortable feeling.

The view at the top of the tower was also a disappointment. The lights were off and it felt kinda dangerous being up there. We were also disappointed at the lack of a free wifi service. I believe free wifi does set your standards as a high class 5 star hotel.

The lobby was fine but it did not have a 5 star feel once again. Nothing glamourous about our stay here. It was comfortable but not worth the money paid. Could have gotten better deals elsewhere in BKK.

when i was planning my trip to Thailand, i couldn't not try the hotel especially when i imagined my self waking up with a view from the 60th floor.. well, the view from up is OK ( not wow), u just see other buildings, some of them are already high as the hotel somehow, but even the view is not that clear, i remember i enjoyed it the first 10 mn & that was it! & u will start judging the hotel on all the other services, which are average.
the room was not that clean, too many people in the hotel so you don't feel the intimacy if you are traveling as a couple, the employees won't even recognize even if you stay more than 10 days! so they will keep asking you your room number.
the food is also average, the restaurant is on the 78th floor where you will have better view than from the rooms & no need for you to book on the upper floors ( the price of the room increase whenever you go up...).
i lived the experience maybe but won't go for the hotel again.

Stayed there for the last night of my family trip to Thailand. We wanted to see the view from the top and staying at Baiyoke was actually a fantastic choice. We reserved 5 rooms and arrived around 6pm. 3 of them were upgraded upon check-in. Although the concierge service took a bit of time to bring around the luggage to each room, the porter was very pleasant and upbeat, which just naturally melts your anxiety. The hotel is definitely very busy, the 18th floor hotel lobby was bustling with people and the ground floor is rather disorienting because it only had the sky-view entrance and service elevators to various floors in the hotel for your intended purposes there. When you stay at the hotel, you get tickets to the observatory for free. Even after you check-out, as long as you have the receipt, you are still allowed up as we wanted to see the view during the day as well. The rooms are very large, we all had conference area, sleeping area and long pathway going into the bathroom and storage closet. Space was no problem. Although nothing looked brand spanking new, everything is in good order and the rooms are very clean. Only one room smelt slightly off, all others were fine and refreshing given how these large buildings are ventilated. Wake-up call service was on time and reliable to all 5 rooms. There are many discounts for services offered in the hotel, we took up the "floating market buffet" for a very reasonable price and everyone had a nice meal. Although the official closing time is 10, many food stalls were already cleaning up by 9, which is a bummer. However when you ask for something, they still try and make it for you. Sleep was very comfortable, the shower was amazing, great pressure and temperature. Check-out was very quick and easy. All in all, a very efficient experience. It definitely would not be a romantic hideaway or a boutique magic, but it serves its purpose for a night of comfortable stay with lots of supporting services available. And the view from the rooms are nothing short of breath-taking.

Room Tip: There are different tiers of rooms, if you want the higher floors, make sure to choose the right one...

I have been twice staying in this hotel. First with my friends, second with my cousin sisters, 3 of us in a standart room with extra bed.
Why i came back to this hotel eventhough the service is poor and the room is ugly? Because of the location, which is near to the market and other good malls.

What i dont like about this hotel?
1. The room. My first visit was ok. The second, i got a super stink smelly room, and i think the smell comes from the bathroom. I also dont like the carpet looks old and dirty. Then i called to the receptionist requested to moved into a clean and better room. They said they will send the staff to check first. But after we wait for 15 mnts there was nobody came. We could not wait too long because we must go to do our shopping trip. And then we came back in the evening, and i straightly go to the receptionist and spoke to a foreign lady there ( i really2 dont like to speak with the Thai people at the receptionist because their english is reeaallyy poor and VERY Rude and not nice) and complain about my room. She was really helpful and moved my room to a ladies floor at level 48th. My new room was ok.

2. Breakfast time
The restaurant is so crowded and the lady in front door was rude and didnt have a complete data about my room. Me and my cousins (3 of us) were renting an extra bed, but the front lady says the bfast only for 2 persons. Then i asked her to called the receptionist. It was really complicated and even my cousin was so angry with the receptionist by phone and angry to the front lady. Because it was seems like we lied that we rent an extra bed. ( oh come on they have ruined our morning mood). After that they let us all in for bfast.

ZERO TOLERANCE AT BREAKFAST TIME. They clean up all the table and food exactly at 10 AM eventhough there were still many people just arrived and people who were still eating. They kept told us "we will clean ALL THE TABLE at 10AM". Silly !!!!

I highly recommend you to come early for bfast to avoid full table.

And when you speak with the Thai people, whoever they are, use a simple english and make sure
They understand what you say or you are in trouble!!! All thai are always rude (at least that is what i experienced in my 3 times visit to bangkok). So just be patient and keep smile, and enjoy your trip!!
