We've checked in at Baiyoke Sky Hotel to stay about 7-10 days for our business trip.
For the pro, the room is very big, clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. The staffs from the guest relation desk are very helpful. They're always willing to help. The breakfast is a number of choice.
ီCorn; As our purpose is for shopping for our hotels, we're not very convenience with unhelpful bell boy.
During our staying, One of our supplier delivered the packing boxes at the hotel. So, we asked at the reception and we're told to go down and ask at the Ground Floor.
So, we went there and ask about it. He [the following blue uniform bell boy] replied us with very annoying face and asked us the slip of the boxes. We explained back that as the supplier delivered while we're away, we don't have the ticket and requested him to check with our room no.
Then, he replied with very rude manner by to go and ask the store ourselves. As we don't know where the luggage store is, we told him to follow with us to the store. Then, can you imagine what he did, the staff of 4* hotels, Baiyoke Sky....
He shouted us back - "go yourself and he can't do it"... We were surprise and told him we'll tell his manager and then, he laugh to us and very badly showed his name badge and told us ... "go to see any superior of the hotel and he did not care anyone..." We're very amazed with that kind of rude manner from service industry staffs.
So, we went to see the only one helpful staff of Guest relation desk and he sent us to see duty manager.
We were surprise again by the following photo of un-responsible duty manager.
He asked to tell the exact name of the bell boy because they've two staffs there (Can you believe it that he can't know one from two). As their names are difficult to remember, we said that as you just have the two staffs there, you just easily asked him but he deny that he can't do anything if we can't tell exactly. And, he might be fight from them if he does not know exactly. Can you believe it. He looks very difficult to solve for the customer satisfaction even he assigned two bell boy there, he is very afraid to ask who is the one from these two.
I feel so sad about the owner and management of Baiyoke Sky Hotel because we're also running the hotels and resorts and from the same service industry.
As we did complain him, he finally follow with us to the down stair with un patient face and let us show who is he..
Then, he just listen what he said and then, he told that his staff is not wrong and he can't do anything.
If he is from road side Inn, I'll not complain what he solved it. But, he was responsible for 4* hotel and the duty manager said that he can't do anything with his level and he'll just write the report to the management at night.
We will never come back this hotel.
