I got the room as a complimentary on my wedding day held at this hotel. The room was big and nice and the check-in process was fast. The hotel is connected a shopping mall with some restaurants so you don't have to worry about your choices of food when staying here. I do not recommend food at the hotel as I am not sure about the quality. I got complaints from many guests who attended my wedding reception about their stinky fish maw and the taste that was very strange in their opinion. I informed their Catering Director but received no feed back and the hotel shows no responsibility. Other than the service from their catering team and the stinky fish maw which made me and many of my guests doubt about the quality, the hotel is good.

Stayed at the Conrad 3 times over the past 12 months and was upgraded to a Corner Deluxe room with breakfast during a promotional offering. Nicely appointed, spacious room with all the modern amenities. Herman Miller office chair at the work desk. So so comfortable. The hotel is at the Four Seasons Place, a office/ mini shopping complex. All the banks are just there, with a Tops supermarkets to get your fresh fruits and drinks, a couple of restaurants. Wifi is not free in room but available in the lobby free. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

Room Tip: Try getting a room on the higher floor. Nice views

This is a five star hotel with excellent and friendly service. It has been my regular hotel in Bangkok for several years. One review stated that it's a short walk to the BTS sky train which is true but you can take the free shuttle bus that the hotel operates to the BTS if you don't want to walk. Rooms are spacious with excellent bathroom and amenities. The club floor is also spacious with a good spread for breakfast. It's a pity that the room on the club floor that used to be allocated for smoking has now been changed to non smoking. The hotel has unfortunately generally stopped providing any indoor places to smoke compared to other five star hotels which still have areas allocated areas. ( Siam Kempinski, Manarin Oriental, Intercontinetal to name a few). This is the only negative aspect so smokers be warned!

Room Tip: Corner rooms are the most spacious.

Superb location, friendly staff, spacious rooms, very comfy bed, lots of different types of pillows, huge and functional bathroom, and fantastic food. I didn't get a chance to try the spa but I am sure it is as amazing as the rest of the hotel is.

They do well on the bigs too, but it was the service that really impressed me.

I stayed here twice - one night before heading up north and then four nights at the end of my trip. As an HHonors Gold, I was upgraded to an Executive level room both times (the four night stay was in a corner room which was huge).

The Lounge was great. Breakfast had many options (and they would make you eggs, cooked to order, if you just asked), and afternoon tea and evening cocktails were a nice respite if you happen to be back at the hotel. The concierges in the lounge provided great service - always ready to answer questions or make suggestions and remembered their guests (one morning I asked about getting to the National Museum and the next morning, the concierge asked me how I enjoyed my visit).

The automatic late check out for those on the Executive level is very helpful for the many travellers with late night flights (I was actually able to extend my check out to 6pm, at no extra cost).

The exercise room was nice, but the hotel is actually close enough to Lumphini Park to make it possible to run outside in Bangkok! The hotel was also an easy walk to the BTS (there was a shuttle, but I only took it when traveling with luggage). I was concerned about the distance from the river, but it was very quick and easy to get there via the BTS.

For dinner, I'd either grab the BTS somewhere or follow the office workers to one of the near by food stalls and enjoy. There were also some restaurants in the All Seasons Place (think mall) to which the hotel is attached (including familiar "comforts" like Burger King). The grocery store in the mall was useful for picking up snacks and drinks.

This hotel is definitely on my list to consider if I were to return to Bangkok.

Excellent spacious rooms. Bathroom and amenities are very good. Food and service are also very good. A short walk to local BTS makes rest of central Bangkok accessible. One BTS stop to Siam square and couple of stops to Asok makes it excellent location. Wifi works perfect. Pool area is also nice. Conferencing facility is good. Conrad Residences is within same tower and perhaps a good choice of relatively long stays.

Just wrapped up a 4-day stay in Bangkok with my sister and daughter. Overall, we enjoyed our hotel, Conrad Bangkok.

Positives:

Nicely updated room and public area
Very friendly service
Great lounge and offerings (breakfast, afternoon tea and evening tapas)
Good location to Skytrain

Not so positives:

Saw a small cockroach in our room the first day
Our dinner reservation was mixed up, (but it was all good, because we end up liking it better than the one we would have gone to)

We would definitely chose Conrad again if we ever return to Bangkok!

Room Tip: Room with lounge access is a definite plus!
