“Ideal hotel - but avoid refurbishment periods”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 December 2012

Stayed at this hotel on many occassions and could never find fault.
During my stay, 21-23 Dec 12 the only problem I had was that although they intimated refurbishment of upper floor suites they managed to put me in a room directly below a room that was undergoing refurbishment.
After bringing this to their attention they did move me to another room.
The following morning it became evident that the room above my "new room" was also being refubished.
The hotel agreed ro waive an early check in charge but the front desk should have been made more aware of the location of ongoing work.
In saying all that, it is still a very good hotel in terms of location and value for money
and would definately consider it again

In the middle of Bangkok, but not in the middle of the traffic jams on Sukhumvit or else, some difficult to find from the skytrain is this 5 star hotel. 10 minutes walk to the BTS station, which bring you around the city. The rooms are as you expect for the price you pay for as is the buffet breakfast and the service. Everything is just perfect, but that is what you expected.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, donot worry.

Breakfast is tasty but the selection is almost the same for everyday. Great location that you can walk to the night market with all the stall selling the street food.
Hotel is clean and need about 20 minutes walk to patong night market or metro station. Free wireless is only at lobby area. A good choice if you wanna shop in Bangkok!

I stayed 8 days at this hotel in Sep 2012. It's not a new hotel and I have stayed here before some 10 years ago. However, It is a well maintained hotel with very nice rooms that is clean, comfortable and relatively large. It has a separate shower and bathtub and a work desk. I like how bright the room is, unlike some other business hotels where it is quite dark with a small desk lamp that makes it difficult to work at. The only thing is that wifi is only available in the common areas and in the room, connection is via cable, which makes it less convenient to connect through phone or iPad. The bed is quite hard but comfortable, which I like, and the walls are well insulated so you don't hear noise from next door.
The staff at the hotel are very courteous and helpful. I was at a conference, and the amazing staff attended to all our various requests quickly, and without fuss. The hotel has a very good Chinese restaurant, a cafe where a good breakfast buffet is available and a comfortable bar area that is great for a quiet relaxing drink.
The hotel is located at Sathon, the business area of Bangkok. It is within a 5-7 min walking distance to two BTS rail stations, one of which is at Silom where the street vendors come out to display their wares after dark. It is a convenient location, with grocery stores and eating places just around the corner, including several massage places. It is, however some distance from Sukhumvit, though easily reachable via the two BTS stations nearby.
This is a great moderately priced hotel that has a nice room, great service and a convenient location. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: There are smoking and no-smoking rooms available and these are kept on separate floors which are gre...

Well..the location was great for me work-wise, and I loved that it was possible to walk in calm little alleys in he back in the evening with lots of food stalls. It is also about 10 to 15 minutes walk from patpong night market. as everywhere in Bangkok, it is at the very close proximity to a 7/11.

The hotel is a business one. It has tried maybe a bit too hard to get a European feel and as a result it is a bit oldfashioned, particularly the lobby with his grand staircases and cristal (glass?) chandelier But the rooms are nice, large and comfortable. The mattress was really hard but that a personal taste. The room had two mini bottle of complimentary water, as well as coffee and tea with kettle. The mini bar had super basic drinks, large safe, the TV had a few English speaking channels (news and movies). The in room service was perfect and the Thai food I ordered are really nice. I had lots of problems to connect to internet and the person who came to help did not seem to know much more than me. they have a business centre downstairs with internat access as well as a printer (but not cheap...)
The bathroom was large too with both a large shower and bathtube (a bit old looking but clean). There was hot water, pressure, it was clean, basic amenities were there.
The breakfast was good, a fair choice of things. Again nothing mega exciting but enough choice for any one to find something good.
Checking in and out was very fast.
Only real potential negative: in the first evening I had some very loud plumbing noise coming through the walls. it did not last too long and I did not hear any more noise after that...???

You walk through those doors and you are hit by tranquility.

Senses are overloaded on the streets of Bangkok, the noise, the smells, the humidity, the traffic and the chaos.......then you switch it all off as you return to this lovely hotel. The staff can't do enough for you. They are friendly, helpful and very efficient. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable and the facilities excellent for a business hotel. The entrance lobby exudes elegance with an amazing chandelier and comfortable lounge area. The outdoor pool is small but perfectly formed and ideal for a refreshing dip! The breakfasts cater for most tastes and the chinese restaurant on the first floor is really good.

This isn't the most glitzy hotel ever, but it has a charm and tranquility that make it very special. I would definitely recommend it!

This is simply a great hotel . It is true luxury in the heart of Bangkok!
It appears on first impressions to be a little formal with some of the male staff in business suits but dont be decieved , it's very friendly , helpful and a lovely place to stay. The staff are great and really know the job.
It's well located and within walking distance of the Patbong but its in a quiet residential street in the convent area. Only snag was the Internet connection not great and no wi-fi for your iphone!
I will hopefully enjoy this hotel for many years to come. Recommended!

Room Tip: simply be nice to the reception staff!
