I stayed for four night in June 2014. The room was large with kitchen - large bedroom - and living room (including washing/drying machine). A view over the pool toward the skyline was nice as well.

The bathroom was outdated - pretty bad shower head (one hand held that didn't spray) and the second shower head didn't work. I always felt like I was going to fall as I stepped from the bathtub/shower onto the marble floor because as much as you try it's hard to keep the floor dry because of the way the shower is built.

The room was a non-smoking room but still smelled of cigarettes. Not sure if it was stale from the room - or coming from next door. I didn't use the pool but when I took my walk-about I don't think I would use it as it was dirty. The Steam Room was out of order and there is a sauna that was functioning - but I didn't check it out.

The washer dryer combo is a nice option - but it takes a very very very long time - so don't think you can throw stuff in in the morning and catch an afternoon flight without taking damp clothes with you.

Breakfast options were numerous - seemed a little chaotic and hard to find tables on a couple occasions.

I may return as some of these things I can overlook (not the cigarette) - location was central which is a big plus.

Room Tip: Ask for newer tower - high floor if you like city views

I have used this hotel few times and this time I have to mention it was the worst ever stay in my life. At the start chaos at the reception and then leading to a mouldy room. Shower was partially functioning and mould around bath tub. The towels were not cleaned and were used by others before. when I complained the staff were also arrogant and reluctant to replace any. The internet was turned off at 3am and never had service up till 11am. I went to the reception on the 7th of june early morning and I had to go to the loo, but the guy at the reception reluctant to open the toilets for me? Human rights???? So I had to go back to my room to go to the toilet. I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. There are few other hotels near by, Le Fenix, Citadine and Salil. try those. I sincerely hope the management will get rid of the arrogant staff who were present on the 7th of June 3:30am at grand president and bring back the normal friendly staff.

This hotel has a good location in Sow 11, in a touristic area with a lot of restaurants and bars around. The rooms are small but clean and well-appointed. But the swimming-pool was very dirty when I came.

Hotel is located in soi 11 next to nana station.Price is about £30 per night which I think is good value for money in Bangkok.Has fantastic rooftop pool which is usually very quiet.Rooms are ok for the money you pay and clean enough.Hotel staff are very helpful (I was at desk checking out and not very well and they couldn't do enough for me,offered to get somebody to go with me to pharmacy which I though was very kind). All in all hotel is cheap with nice pool in a great location, stayed here a few times between February and March 2014.Would defiantly stay here again.

Only downfalls beds are very small and the hotel is overrun with Indian and Pakistani guests who are you the rudest people ever, have no manners and smell awful, but you need to expect this in cheap hotels as they are full of these people as they are cheapskates.

It is a very nice. It has 3 Towers which are very nicely made. We stayed inside the 3rd tower and had a suite of 2 bedrooms with a kitchen a dining table. The room was very comfortable and both the rooms had their separate bathrooms. All in all stay at this hotel is recommended.
