The people are friendly, the rooms clean and air conditioned (although the hall is not). There is a swimming pool and bar on the roof open until 8 pm. The food here is edible but not that great. However you are in an area with a lot of restaurants and street food. Also, there is a laundry next door that is a lot cheaper than the hotel prices. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the sky train and the Patpong Night market. You can get here from the airport cheaply with public transportation using the sky train (3 changes) or a taxi is only about $30 from the airport.

Room Tip: It is being renovated. The newer rooms seem to be on the upper floors. The older rooms are fine, jus...

A good hotel- safe and well run with good breakfast. Good value for money and easy location near popular areas and the sky train. Pool on roof a nice touch. Big let down are the rooms.., although clean and safe, they desperately need upgrading ... However, if you want value, location and intend to spend most of your time sight- seeing- I would consider it. Stayed here 5 times...

Enjoy BKK!

Nice place to stay for few nights (we stayed there 6). Top floor bar and swimming pool with great view. Large rooms and bathroom. Very polite stuff. the only small issue is that you can't open the balcony door -due to security

Lovely, comfortable hotel. It is the former Hotel Unico Grande, but completely renovated. There is a rooftop swimming pool and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Tip: book for a few dollars more a corner room, you have a lot more space. The river is a 15 minute walk, the Skytrain too.

The hotel was in very central place, middle of the hotel zone. There was a hindu festival on the street. Colorfull, extraordinary but noisy... The hotel room was very big I think it was a suit on 11th floor. The bathroom was a disaster. The shower curtain and bath tube
was terribly stained and rusty. Bed was comfortable but bed sheet was stained. Also there were ants or insects on the walls. If it is important for you wifi was avaliable everywhere and excellent. And breakfast buffet was good enough for thai foods.

The room was quite amazing and is modern and big, with a beautiful full glass-walled bathroom. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate and the roof-top pool and bar area is quite stunning, which of course also offers great views of the city. Taxi's can be ordered to collect you directly from the lobby and unlike other hotels where taxi's charge a collection fee, here this is none. You can also use the concierge desk to book local tours which is very convenient as you are collect directly from the hotel and returned after your tour.

Room Tip: I always recommend getting a room on higher floors in a big city so that views are nicer and city no...
