This is my 2nd time to stay @ Dream Hotel.
The location is quite close to BTS Asok and MRT Sukumvit Station.
For the price and the service offered, I would recommend it to travelers visiting Bangkok

This place is located a short walk from 2 BTS (skytrain) stops which were all we needed to get around Bangkok.

The hotel rooms are pretty unremarkable - clean and comfortable, but I didn't see the point of the blue light in the rooms.

Service was good. Breakfast buffet very nice.

A good spot to base yourself for a short stay in Bangkok.

We stayed here in April 2011. Located close enough to both a Skytrain station and Metro station so very convenient.

There are two buildings, dream1 and dream2. We stayed in dream1 which has a very new and trendy feel to it and you are free to use the pool at dream2 just across the road.

The blue sleep lighting is a gimmick but I loved the room anyway. The pillows were the best I have had. Breakfast was great.

Would definately stay here again.

Found this hotel to be right in the hub of things. The rooms were spacious and clean (not much of a view though) with a decent size shower and plenty of toiletries should you forget something. There was a nice bar area, but unfortunately whilst we were there, it was closed to residents twice due to private functions. There was a rooftop bar in the building next door, but only small and sometimes you just want to get out of the heat. The room had strange blue lighting, but I kinda liked it. We ate lunch in the restaurant once and it was very nice. Breakfasts were nice, we got there once at 7am (we were getting picked up at 8am) and it was a nice peaceful affair and then got there at 10:15 (breakfast finishes at 10:30) and it was very hectic. 2 mins walk to the end of the road and you find the street markets. We had some tailoring done at George's on the same road as the hotel, and found his suits, shirts, blouses and dresses all to be done to a high standard, although of course you have to barter the price, after a first fitting afew hours after picking your style and fabric the garments are ready in a couple of days. Thought this hotel was a decent hotel and would stay here again next time I'm in Bangkok. Also stayed at the Royal Orchid which was a superior hotel, but prefered the surrounding area at the Dream.

Room Tip: Try out rooftop pool area at the sister building

We recently spent a fabulous 3 nites at this hotel. I checked out this hotel website (again thanks to TA reviewers), liked what I saw and read, thus proceeded to book. As I booked so close to my date of arrival, I decided to call the hotel to ensure that they have my booking. I was surprise, right after the call, to received from the hotel reservations manager, Khun Tharapong on his own INITIATIVE forwarded the Hotel's address in both english & thai together with a clear map of the hotel so I can show this to the taxi driver from Airport. Ok, that is a Good start!
Dream Hotel is Clean, Convenient with Courteous & Helpful staff and reasonably priced. They were also thoughtful! and obviously took notice at check in when they checked each of our passport .. as Hotel sent a cake to the room for my wife's birthday. For this I say Thank You.
Breakfast is between 6.30 to 11 am .. thus allowing sleeping in then Brunch.
Location: 10 mins walk to Asoke Sky Train which is also next to Robinsons. Supermarket & food court is at the basement. Good choices of eating places, massage and other beauty pampering choices around.
We truly appreciate the initiative and the thoughtfulness of your staff .. and we will definitely come back to Dream Hotel!

The best part of this hotel was the breakfast spread, on par with the best five star hotels.
In addition, like anywhere else in Bangkok, the service was excellent, hotel staff were always available to help with anything that we needed.
Only aspect that we'd rate a little lower was the room lighting.
Pros: Great facilities, excellent service and breakfast
Cons: Room lighting, narrow approach road
