My partner and I stayed at the hotel for both business and leisure. It's location is very convenient to the office and the sky walk.

The concierge was pretty much knowledgeable when it comes to giving restaurant recommendations.

The pool, spa and gym were excellent.

I was at the Sukosol for a meeting. The hotel lobby is spacious and nicely designed. Room is big, dated but clean. Water pressure from the shower a little weak and I could see molds in the corners.

Wifi is free the entire building and staff courteous. Out of the lobby on the left is a 7-11 and on the right a almost deserted small shopping mall with some food offers. The BTS (railway) is a stone throw's away so it's very convenient. However there are little interesting things surrounding the hotel. Guests are also not allowed to drink their own beverages in the garden, we have to buy the ones they provide. There also seem to have a number of mosquitoes at their indoor and outdoor lounge area.

Breakfast spread is good. I particularly like the Japanese restaurant. Room doors a little too thin, i could regularly hear other guests returning and closing their doors. But all in all a comfortable stay.

Dear j c,

Thank you so much for taking the time to submit your feedback, we were all happy to hear that you had a comfortable stay with us and enjoyed both our convenient location and dining options. Unfortunately at this time of year with all the rain, Bangkok suffers more mosquitoes than usual, but I will pass on your comments to housekeeping to increase the frequency that we spray repellants.

Hopefully we will see you back soon at The Sukosol when the weather is better!

My partner and I have just stayed at the Sukosol and we were both impressed with the quality of this hotel in appearance and the service. I would like to say thankyou to Tony at the concierge desk for his daily assistance in booking restaurants, giving excellent directions and changing our flights with bangkok airways.

The hotel itself is very clean, close to the sky train which makes it a breeze to navigate through BkK, especially if it's your first time visit.

Would return here, thanks.

Good location, clean, spacious and nice rooms along with fresh linen. All staff are friendly and efficient.
The food at the coffee shop is excellent. Easier to get around as you can get plenty of taxis and a five minute walk to the station. i would recommend the place and certainly sill stay there the next time to Bangkok.

Overall, a highly preferred hotel to stay around if you want to move around Bangkok using eh BTS as the traffic is horrendous. The biggest plus point of the hotel is its location as it is very near the Phaya Thai BTS, 7 Eleven store and small shopping mall are almost next door. The rooms as big for it price. Service is pretty good except if you do not ask complicated questions in English. Offers a good size gym and pool. We stayed in 4 different rooms. The setback is that there are cockcoraches in 2 of them and housekeeping did not respond at all after our feedback. The aircon in the rooms are very loud at the lowest fan. The aircon is one of the rooms is freezing the temp cannot be adjusted. The temp of the showers goes hot and cold.
Overall, still a highly recommended hotel due to the value for money and its location. Mr. Tony of the Concierge offers fantastic service in hailing cabs as it is not easy to get one due to the narrow inside road it is located.

Tip: 1. The Airport Railway Link brings you all the way near the hotel without changing train and it costs only Bht 45. Upon exiting the Phaya Thai BTS (different from Airport Link BTS), use Exit No. 4. Go down the stairs, cross the road, turn right and walk about 60m and you will reach the hotel. 2. Ask for directions to try the Kruang Seafood Restaurant, a 10 mins cab ride away. The food is a bit pricey by Thai standards but still very resaonable by international standards. Serves great seafood by a S'porean taste bud. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Test the shower temp before you unpack.

Lovely modern hotel with a nice big pool which is like an oasis in the middle of the busy city at the end of the day. We had a family room which was huge. Big bathroom and beds. The only criticism is the beds were very hard. We have a firm bed at home but this was like sleeping on a concrete slab. The breakfast was amazing, the best we had in 3 weeks in 3 continents. The kids got a welcome pack each on arrival which consisted of a big soft toy and crayons and activity book. We got a babysitter one night which was very expensive but the kids loved the babysitter as he took them all around the hotel as well as put them to bed! Great location that you are only 15 mins from the airport by sky train and the hotel is. 3 min walk from the station.

Dear travelplanneranna,

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your review here.

The team do love to welcome families and we have a lot of fun with kids in the hotel, and everyone will be pleased to hear you enjoyed our family room's size. I do apologize about the beds, we offer mattress toppers to guests who prefer a softer bed, but I am sorry this was not offered to you and your family.

Also happy to hear you liked our breakfast buffet and hope you can come back to visit us again soon.
