This hotel is based in a very central location. Walking distance to local shops and the sky Train. Only 4 stops to the large into shopping mall MBK. Taxi cost between 100BHT and 200BHT to most of the sites within an hours drive from the hotel. Always barter with the fare and get a fixed price rather than on the meter. The pool area is very nice and when we were staying June 2013 was not used very much at all so beds always available. Excellent Indian restaurant inside the hotel which I believe was once voted the best Indian restaurant in Thailand.
Nice spacious room .

Room Tip: We were in room 1112 had no problem with noise. Clean and spacious. Bed a little too firm .

Dear LondonVirg,

Thank you for reviewing us on Tripadvisor and for pointing out some of the many assets the hotel possesses. One thing I'd like to say: we always recommend to use exclusively metered taxis, it's the only way you pay exactly the right amount. Taxi drivers that negotiate fares will often have other businesses on the side where they get a commission as well, like tailors or jewelry shops.
Thank you for enjoying our Rang Mahal restaurant, certainly one of the best Indian restaurants in Thailand with great views over Bangkok from the 26th floor.

We hope to welcome you again soon,
With best regards,

The Rembrandt Hotel Management team

The perfect place to stay in Bangkok. Large rooms, excellent breakfast wide an enormous variety of food. Very pleasant atmosphere, lobby and bar with live jazz music, excellent outdoor terrace and swimming pool. Don't hesitate and book here!!

The location is ideal. However Sukhumvit Is a very busy road. Traffic could not be heard in the room. The hotel is very comfortable. The breakfast could not be faulted with a huge variety of food. There are a number of restaurants within the hotel. Although our rom overlooked to swimming pool we did not use it. A minor hiccup with the concierge was dealt with by the manager with speed. I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We were on the 10th floor overlooking the pool and the room was in a good location.

A very good city hotel. Service very good and room comfortable. Excellent range of restaurants, all serving great food - Thai, Mexican, Italian, Indian. Swimming pool is very nice, on the terrace looking out over the city.

Hotel location is very good, very close to an underground and Sky train station, which is very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also has its own free tuk-tuk for a lift to the station if you're feeling lazy!

Stayed here for 3 nights, the reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in a good spot just a 5-10 min walk to the terminal 21 shopping centre and the hotel is just a few mins walk from the main road but it does offer a tuk tuk service if you don't want to walk.

Breakfast was nice good choice and glad it was open till 11.00am after a long flight!

The hotel pool and fitness centre is good with towels provided.

The hotel room and hallway area from the lift are in need of updating. Tired furniture/curtains/carpets.

I wouldn't return to this hotel as we stayed in the pathumwan princess last time for the same price and that was truly amazing hotel.

The hotel rooms, meals, dining area and service were very good. Lovely foyer, nice bars and restaurants serving grest cuisine. It is situated near an underground and sky train rail network to reach sightseeing parts of Bangkok. The hotels own tuk-tuk service will give you a lift to the access steps to the interchange station. There is a large pool for a cooling swim and a good gym for exercise. If you want to shop till you drop there is the Emporium Shopping mal close by. We thought the Rembrandt and Towers Hotel was very luxurious and a lovely place to stay in Bangkok making our first visit to Thialand very enjoyable.
