nice clean friendly hotel, easy walk to the sky train, Breakfast is excellent & may be the best available in Asia, we were on the 17th floor one night took the lift to the top floor went the balcony for a breath taking view of Bangkok. Nice pool not the best or largest so pack most of the time. Good central hotel, nice place to start holiday from.

We tagged a one night stay in Bangkok onto a trip to Phuket and the Rembrandt was recommended by our travel agent. We were very pleased with our choice, situated on a fairly quiet side street away from the traffic madness.

On entering the lobby we were struck by the delicious scent, of what I think was jasmine, lovely! Check in was swift and friendly and we were soon settling into our room. We were only on the 6th floor but we still had a wonderful view from our corner room, overlooking the pool and the skyline.

Having a walk up the street there are a few nice bars, plenty of massage places and a line of vendors cooking and serving what looked like really nice street food. If we had been there longer we would have definitely given them a try. There is also a little mini mart directly across from the hotel handy for snacks, water and the like.

I would certainly recommend a stay at the Rembrandt!

I spent 4 nights here just to use for its strategical position. 50m from the central Sukhumvit road. 300m from skytrain stop Asok, and 400m from the tube line stop Sukhumvit road. Close to shopping mall Terminal 21!!! one of my favourite mall in Bangkok!! new and massivly spectacular!! The main Wat (temples) and Royal Palace are 200 thb by taxi from the hotel!
hotel itself is fair quality. be careful they assign you the new rooms and not the ugly old fashion stinky rooms. Breakfast good but not something that you remember! good place for a quick stop over in town!
