We spent 3 nights here, via a Trailfinders deal. Fabulous value in a top hotel. Clean, modern, and well located. If you walk down to the main road you're right by Osake Skytrain station, meaning you can get around most of Bangkok quite easily.
We didn't eat in the hotel ( except for the free breakfast) but had lovely meals in the place opposite the entrance (with the straw awning) and the one same side of the road towards the main road called P Kitchen. It's also worth eating on the top floor of Terminal 21 (or even in the basement - the 'Thai Street food' place was great. If you have a couple of hours to spare the Hunt Escape is 5 minutes away and good fun.

Good hotel in location close to Train. A bit dated inside the rooms, but staff were excellent. We had two adjoining rooms for family of five which worked perfectly for us. There was a v good local restaurant the Lean on Tree across the road that also did very good massages.

Lovely room, great bathroom with all the essentials; toothbrush/paste, comb, cotton buds and a robe, good breakfast and really good staff, especially reception staff who were very helpful calling the tourist police after us being caught up in a gem scam; namely Kritsanapong Palert and a young lady who I don't know her name but talked with us and recommended 'The Saxophone' - nice bar with two bands a night. Nice touch in providing bottled water and free internet access in reception which proved to be really useful in finding out about the gem scams and being able to print. Good location with tram system being walking distance (although we didn't use it and opted for taxis instead). Lovely indian restaurant on the top floor with fantastic night time views - but, take a pair of long trousers to dine (although they will provide some if you don't have).

Room Tip: we upgraded to a higher floor having seen other reviews recommending this. We were on the 12th floor and although the view was good, you couldn't beat the view from the top floor where the restaurant is.

We stayed in Rembrandt for 3 nights in July - and loved our stay here! The lobby is grand and cool (which is obviously is appreciated after the extreme heat of Bangkok)

We were greeted by friendly staff who quickly showed us up to our room. The room was beautiful, and the bed was absolutely huge! The bathroom was luxurious and there was a large flat screen TV in the room.

There are so many restaurants in this hotel we didn't get the chance to sample them all but the Mexican is a must go as is the Indian on the top floor (the views are incredible!) All of the food was of a good standard and service was excellent.

The pool was fairly nice, never crowded and they offered a poolside food and drink service which was nice.

The location is what made this hotel so amazing, it is literally in the middle of everything! There are shops and markets just a stones throw away and a short but fun Tuk-Tuk ride to the night markets!

We loved our stay at the Rembrandt, the only downside was not being able to stay longer!

Your detailed response is very informative and really puts our hotel in a nice light for which we are grateful. The restaurants that you refer to our Senor Pico for Mexican and Rang Mahl for Indian and are considered the best in Bangkok. Thanks again and we will look forward to your return.

This was our second stay at the Rembrandt and if we return to Bangkok again we will definitely return. For location, comfort, service and value for money it would be hard to beat.
We booked through Kenwood travel and paid around £35 a night including breakfast.

The room was spotless with a huge comfy bed and a nice bathroom with loads of complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was more than adequate to set you up for the day and we never had trouble finding a table however the hotel seemed really quiet when we were there which may have been down to the fact the curfew had only just been lifted. We never ate in any of hotel the restaurants this time as there are so many good places to eat nearby.

The bar opposite does nice food as does the Lean on Tree almost opposite the hotel.

I must also state the honesty of the staff is impeccable. We left our safe door open one day when we went out with some extremely valuable items and cash in it. When we returned there was a note to ask us to contact management to be given a code to reopen the safe which had now been locked. I was extremely concerned but needn't have been. Everything was where is was left which may not have been the case in other hotels as others have commented on here.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and hope to return in the future.
