The hotel is located at the Northern edge of the city center, near the Victory monument:
Modern large hotel with huge, impressive lobby and attractive large wall paintings with Thai themes.
Nice large room with 2 full size beds, ok closet space, good desk for computing, free in-room wifi but unfortunately with scant electrical outlets (a number of these should be available in the vicinity of the desk in any modern hotel). Nice carpet in room, tiles at entrance and in the bathroom which provides good vanity space and an amply sized, well functioning glass enclosed shower. Extensive breakfast buffet missing only the expected, frequently found cold meats and cheese, but including an egg station. There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel, but they are on the pricey side and nearby inexpensive restaurants with more of a local ambiance abound. Overall a very good place."

we stayed here for two nights as a stop gap. the hotel was massive, rooms were huge, drinks a little on the high side so didn't have many!

The pool area was nice, bar on second floor good for a night cap.

Staff helpful.

Close to the sky bar, the tallest building in Bangkok (15 min stroll to the left)

Stayed here for 3 nights before we went to Phuket. Hotel was very nice room very spacious beds a bit hard though. We were on the 15th floor which had views across Bangkok very impressive especially at night. Breakfast very nice and plenty of choice for everyone. Hotel also had a nice coffee shop with scrumptious cakes!! Ate out in evenings and found 2 nice seafood places to eat very nice and not at all expensive both within walking distance one point to note take an umbrella we got caught in a torrential rain shower! Did a couple of trips out worth a visit is the floating market. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Hotel has a swimming pool but we didn't have time to use it but it looked nice

Room Tip: Top floor rooms at back have better views

Stayed here for 3 nights lovely hotel. Clean spacious fantastic views about 45mins from the airport.
never had breakfast so not sure about that.

The pool is nice alittle cold maybe heated jacuzzi would help.

Hotel taxi touts outside STAY CLEAR they are horrid people arranged a trip for our friend and ripped him off completely by around £200. If you need a taxi pull one of the street you should be paying no more than 100THB for most places you go. For booking trips whilst your here go out of the main entrance turn right just passed Pizza Hut there is a travel guide a lady and her son they were fantastic and cheap told us where to stay away from and saved our friend a lot of money on booking further accommodation in phuket as well as flights. I will put pics on so it shows a visual of the shops.

Bangkok very lovely if your young an like abit of nightlife head to khao San road 100THB in a cab no more we got ripped off first night by the taxi concierge outside hotel.

All in all I'd stay again if I ever visited bangkok

Stayed here for 3 nights on a bed breakfast & evening meal basis before travelling on to Phuket. An absolutely fabulous hotel. Rooms were out of this world, with a massive bathroom which had a walk in shower and a bath/ Meals were very good with a brilliant range for breakfast, which included sushi

Had no idea where to stay when booking our trip as hadn't been to Bangkok before. This turned out to be an amazing stroke of luck. It's a massive hotel, really clean. You get looked after very well and housekeeping does a great job. My advice would be that when you book, ensure that breakfast is included - we didn't but it was definitely worth paying each day (our most expensive meal at 400 baht) but there is sooooo much choice, all well cooked, it sets you up for the rest of the day so we weren't having to buy lunch.
A couple of minor negatives: the country is tip oriented. When the bell boy brings your luggage to the room he is expecting a tip but I guess this is the case in most hotels. Also (more annoyingly) we weren't seen to our room until 2hours after we arrived because it was being 'cleaned'- after an 11hr flight all we wanted to do was sleep. Our rep told us that if we paid the staff a tip we could be shown to our room sooner, which the couple who arrived with us did but we waited it out. Other than this only positives to be said about staying here!! Would definitely stay again and absolutely loved my stay in Bangkok!!

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely and well centered hotel. Food over priced in restaurant, but fine in a pinch. Needs a new band in bar as this one is really out of tune. Great breakfasts. Lobby is beautiful, many places within walking distance.
