Stayed 4nights in this hotel , it is lovely , we had a room facing the temple no noise at all, room was large and very comfy, had room service one night after a long day sightseeing and it was just perfect, we used the sky train for getting around so cheap and quick only 5mins from hotel. Lovely pool on 5th floor if you want to chill , beware of tuk tuks just outside hotel they will try and rip you off, we used a tour company to the right of the hotel 2mins away to book some trips excellent company. Bangkok is a crazy city and the hotel is a haven to come back to.

Very nice comfortable hotel on very busy road, although you wouldn't know that once inside. Amazing rooftop pool with comfy loungers, gym and snacks available. Only downside was breakfast , had issues with waiting for food and cutlery by which time food was cold, not very good value compared to other hotels, Also when mentioned to waitress about shell in egg she just ignored us and went and told other members of staff who kept staring.

This hotel is definitely 4*+, nothing was too much trouble, the swimming pool at the end of a busy day in the city sightseeing was perfect.
The breakfasts catered for every nationality, it was excellent.
We had a room on the 11th Floor looking toward the area the protesters had taken up their positions, wonderful city view.
They have a coffee bar there which provided me with a coffee style that I have never experienced
I could have walked all night, thousand percent caffiene.
Definitely go there again.

Room Tip: air con was great, not too cool and the controls worked !!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel itself is lovely and very grand: the staff treat you as such too. There is wifi access throughout. We stayed in a superior room which was large, clean and comfy. The only downside to this hotel is although it is close to the sky train (5 min walk) it is slightly out of the way for nightlife.

We did have breakfast at the hotel which we thought was expensive and was in our view not worth the money. We decided each night to find local food and did not have evening meals at the hotel.

We did use the limousine service to pick us up from the hotel but when we returned to the airport we took a metered taxi that was a fraction of the price at around 175 baht including toll fees.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights whilst passing through Bangkok. We found the hotel to be clean, with large rooms. Staff were pleasant but a couple of issues for us lower the rating. The bed in our room was exceptionally hard; we like a firm bed but this one was difficult to sleep on at all. Then the room was noisy late at night; situated near to a main highway where the young people of Bangkok seem to quite literally drag race their cars against each other at 1 am, with performance engines screaming for all they are worth. Not a lot the hotel can do about this but be aware that if you are a light sleeper then ask for a room that does not face the highway. Not too far to walk if you come out and turn left you can stroll the 20 mins or so to one of the excellent shopping areas Bangkok has to offer.

Be very careful when you visit the Grand Palace to avoid the so called tour guides outside who will try and tell you it is too busy inside at the moment; they want you to go elsewhere and it will cost you!! They look convincing but we did manage to keep our wits about us only to meet a couple that evening who had been duped into a 2 hour detour and much money leaving their wallets.

Me and my partner stayed here at the start of February, it was our first time to Thailand as part of a multi centre holiday.
We booked through Thomas Cook and had a rep pick us up from the airport and take us to hotel. He told us everything we needed to know and booked us into our rooms for us. I would really recommend booking through Thomas Cook as they were brilliant.
The rooms were huge and we had a fantastic view overlooking Bangkok. We found the beds were even comfier than back home and bigger. There was also a huge tv in the room, hair dryer, fridge and all your essentials.
The staff were so friendly and always said hello wherever you went! We always tipped the men who took your luggage to the room as they get paid pittance.

The Lobby is a huge area which is very impressive and air conditioned. Breakfast is between 6-10 and had a huge range it was lovely!

We eat in the hotel once and prices are a little bit more expensive but that is only because they know we can afford it compared to outside the hotel is it thai prices as thai people don't get paid much money. All the thai food is so fresh and tastes amazing.

It is a 10min walk to sky train however taxis were extremely cheap if you ask outside. Only 3 pound or so to get to the market and 3 pounds to get to a sky bar. However traffic is bad around rush hour I would advise to get sky train or tuk tuk.

Overall, we absolutely loved Bangkok and the buzz of the city. There is so much going on and so much to see. We did grand palace and markets and sky bar which we all highly recommend to do! The hotel is situated in the centre with short distance to reach anywhere as Bangkok is no way as big as London! What a fantastic hotel with great service!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights beginning of Feb 2014....Although we arrived early morning our room was ready within an hour, had coffee and cake while waiting in coffee shop near lobby. Check in was speedy and room was excellent, very spacious, clean and good views of city. Skytrain was very near and easy to use to get around and avoid the traffic. Staff very polite and helpful and good breakfast every morning, buffet style with lots of choices. We did all the usual sightseeing, Grand Palace, Floating Markets and Bridge over River Kwai while also going to the shopping malls, easy to reach by the skytrain. Although the pool area seemed quite relaxing, especially in the heat, it was only a small area and a bit shady as its stuck between 2 buildings. Also after sightseeing in the mornings there was never any available sunbeds around the pool in the afternoons, everyone must have had the same idea to relax by then!...But all in all, a good hotel to stay in away from the hustle and bustle of the centre yet only a short ride away on the skytrain, would definitely stay here again...
