My flight from Tokyo was delayed so I ended up at the Hotel at about 2:30 am, I was checked in and greeted warmly and escorted to my room. While unpacking I realized that more stuff needed to go into the safe, anyway trying to get back into the safe set off an alarm. Shamefaced I called reception, they came within an half an hour fully dressed in suits to fix it ,and apologized for the wait!!

This hotel could teach many others what hospitality is all about!!

My room was amazing with views of a lovely temple, and a bathroom with everything!!

Great stay!!

We had a great time staying here, our room was very comfortable, and was always cleaned to a high standard. I agree with all the other people who say the breakfast is fantastic, and sitting round the lovely pool area was the perfect end to a busy day sightseeing.

Check-in: perfect! Best English spoken reception in all of our 3 weeks in Thailand.
Rooms: large, clean, quiet, clean bathroom, drinking water refreshed every day.

Breakfast: all you can ask for, freshly cooked and prepared.

Pool area: plenty of space, good for relaxing, not for real swimming.

As written in other reviews: hotel lounge and bar are not often used by guests because of the very high prices for Thailand. A young couple asked for a cocktail at the pool and the pool boy did not really know what to do... probably not used to people asking for a drink?

Location: if you want to be in the tourist area, this is not your place. If you don't mind taking a 10 minutes walk to the skytrain ( exit right and then to the left ) or a 10 minutes walk to the metro ( exit left ): this is your hotel.

Going to the metro station Rathaprarop you will pass a range of restaurants where you can have lunch / dinner, massage parlours, bars, seven eleven, ... Anything you need is there.

My wife and I stayed at the CenturyPark for 3 nights in March. The hotel was very clean with an impressive foyer. Check in was easy and were allocated a room on the 17th floor overlooking the temple to the side of the hotel. We did not have any problems with any noise, despite the hotel being close to a main road.
The room was spacious, with good air conditioning and contained a fridge and in room safe which was free to use.
There was an outdoor pool on the 5th floor with sun loungers which was very welcome during the afternoon. This is overlooked by an apartment block, but was not really a problem.

We did eat at the hotel and their red and green curries were nice and reasonably priced. Drinks, in my opinion were a bit pricey and although it would have been nice to relax with a few cocktails, it was cheaper to go outside of the hotel. The bars and restaurants in the hotel were practically empty, so maybe the management should introduce a few cocktail ‘specials’ to encourage guests to go into them.

The hotel has a coffee area, which also does some nice cakes, which although nice, were, in my opinion, a little expensive, but it was convenient.

The location of the hotel is a little outside of the centre of Bangkok, but about a 15 minute walk to Century Park for the Sky Train or about 15 minutes walk to the Sky Tower. The Sky Train was very easy to use to get to Siam Square etc.

So all in all a very nice hotel and we were happy with it for the money that we paid, in comparison to some of the more central hotels. If you have booked it, you will not be disappointed, but if I returned to Bangkok I would probably choose a more central hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a room on a higher floor for the view.

My party arrived at the hotel late at night. Check in was fast and we were upgraded to superior room with free Wi-Fi. The man at the desk was very nice and friendly. On entering the room I was very pleased. The room was spacious and spotless. Next morning we had breakfast and there was enough of a selection to find something to eat. The hotel was in a great position for getting to see the attractions. There was a market nearby which seemed to go on forever. The train station wasn't too far away so could be walked to. I was only at the hotel for 2 days but I was very pleased with the hotel and the staff were very nice. If I was ever to return to Bangkok I would stay here again.
