I have enjoyed my stay with Silom City Hotel in Bangkok. Its in a area called Suriwong, very near to night market, petpong and local shops. Nice and cozy room; enough for a couple with a good size bathroom.

I have styed at Silom City Hotel many times and would return if staying in Bangkok. It offers great value for money. The Staff, Rooms,Service and Breakfast are all excellent with No complaints.
Would recomment it.

Staff were very accomodating and very friendly. Rooms were just average. Nothing to brag really. My friend and i really found it quite tiring as it is far from the train station considering Bangkok's weather, having to walk that far is not so nice.
I would definitely try other hotels.
Stayed in March 2012
Excellent facilities and very nice modern rooms for the price. Air conditioning worked great. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location not the best and breakfast was average but no complaints otherwise.
When we arrived, the hotel was dark because the electricity was out. They should have let us know there was a problem, it was hours before it was fixed. However, they did provide my group and myself with a cell phone and ride to a shopping area, where they would call us when it was back on. Upon returning and entering our room, our room power console next to the bed did not work. They sent their handyman to fix it, but he was unsuccessful. The woman manager, was very apologetic and moved myself and guest to the suite next door. The suite was massive and contained a wrap around porch and a large dining table with six chairs. The room refrigerator smelled terrible, very sour, and was replaced after we mentioned it. Overall, cleanliness of the room was just okay, but the staff was very warm and welcoming, and apologetic due to all the issues. Hotel is located in a dark side street, but a short walk from the main street and night market.
I stayed at this hotel in August for the 6th time over 3 years, and it is just as good as the first visit.
Although not a 5 star luxury hotel, it is very much a homely hotel, very clean, good location. The room rates are very cheap, and even for a suite room, you pay next to nothing.
Within walking distance to 2 BTS stations, markets and clubs at the other end of Silom.
Have eaten in the Hotel restaurant a couple of times, the day after a few heavy nights out on the town, and have to say the food was pretty decent, cheap price, (although expensive compared to other places in Bangkok, but very cheap compared to western prices)
I have no reason to stay anywhere else when I go to Bangkok, very much a home away from home.
