i booked to Superior but upgrade me to Deluxe and its nice, the breakfast is great, including the buffet lunch is also good:D, the maid in the 11th floor is efficient. The receptionist are all very accommodating except the guy who dont smile, language barrier is a problem but you know they are trying their best. the room is bit outdated but the bed and bathroom is wonderful, in this hotel you dont have to bring you dont have to bring too much toiletries the shampoo and the body soap is unlimited...the bathrooms, bed, linen, bathrobes and the towels are clean. But beware to bell boys just ask them whatever you want to ask but dont let them book for you they will over priced you and dont forget to haggle for the lower price...Anyways this hotel is so much fun friendly atmosphere including the guests, gay friendly hotel by the way the wifi inside the room sucks just bring your laptop at the lobby

It is difficult to find well-located and well-appointed hotels in the economy range. This one is it! It is located near Sathorn and the Lumphini MRT station. The rooms are quite spacious, many with great views. It is oiff street and quiet. The breakfast buffet (included) is very good. The front desk is helpful and understands English. The price is right!! Less than $45/night. It has a high proportion of gay clientele but is mixed and not sleazy. The wifi is slow. The rooftop pool is delightful. Furniture is a bit dated but at this price who cares?

This is my fourth year to Bangkok and I will return to this hotel.

Room Tip: We had an upper corner room with a fabulous view, quiet.

Well what started off as looking like a nice bargain turned to be a dissapointment. Everything in the hotel rooms look like they're from the 70s and not in a good way. There's a shower bath which is really old and mouldy and I'm even scared just to have a shower. There's all these wires and a collection of dust behind the bed head, thanks alot that will help my asthma. Another joke, there's tea cups with saucers and spoons but no tea/coffee/milk lol. Ill also use street taxis here as I have heard they rip you off big time if you use the hotels taxi. Don't wanna stay here again, it is cheap and nasty!

i've stayed at the pinnacle a few times previously and it was good to see the reception and dining areas upgraded and attractive. the christmas tree in the lobby was a lovely touch. although this was probably their busiest time checking in and out was efficiently and speedily done. my requested room high up and quiet was fully met - i was on the 10th floor of 14. the pool area on the 14th was also modernised and a nice place to relax. ordering refreshments from the bar phone was fairly efficient if a little slow, due to a full occupancy, i guess. staff were always smiling and obliging, however. the inclusive breakfast was comprehensive and kept well stocked despite large numbers arriving at the same time! the main downside was a poorly functioning wi-fi system. many guests were having problems with this as it did seem to 'go down' rather frequently! but otherwise good value 3 or 4 star hotel in a good location.

Room Tip: Ask for one higher up for cityscape views and quiet

I have stayed at htis hotel many times over many years. the place is very tired. The pool area and reception and restaurant are THE ONLY things keeping the place alive. the rooms smell, carpet needs a steam clean and pillows need replacing.

the paint in the whole place is so bare and tired MY GOD I couls have choked.

I am so sad that a once great hotel has resorted to low prices rather than do some cleaning.

I think for a few dollars $ extra you can get so much better elsewhere. tantawan place, Amari, Holiday Inn... and even the crappy ibis is better now...

Sorry pinnacle but get cleaner and painted before I will return. Sorry.

Room Tip: the room on floors 9 and above are OK but lower floors have smells of smoking.

The Pinnacle is well located and pretty reasonably priced. They have 2 computer terminals with free wifi for guests at the lobby... they request you to limit usage to 30 minutes per guest per day. The breakfast is included and its a hearty buffet. The time is form 6 to 10 am but if you go for breakfast at 6 am dont expect them to be fully ready till about 6.30.
The room I stayed in was on one of the lower floors and was comfortable and functional.Since the hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy Rama 4 road, the rooms are not noisy.
The nearest MRT (underground train) station is about 200 mt away and there are other good options available for transport(as almost everywhere in Bangkok).
The street food in Bkk is superb and hygenic, and there are many god options outside the hotel on the Rama 4 road. There are also many good restaurants when you come out of the hotel and turn left. Since there are a few cheaper options in the vicinity, you will also find cheap options for laundry/internet etc catering to the visitors in this area.
The staff is friendly too.
Like many hotels in Bangkok, they too take a 1000 Baht "key deposit" and you must keep the receipt carefully to get your money back when checking out.
All in all its a good option to stay, whether you are here for shopping or sightseeing.

The hotel was partially refurbished a couple of years ago and it shows. Some of the rooms are of a good standard for the price paid. The staff are mostly happy to meet and help you although this is not always the case. the location of the hotel is good with public transport a short walk away. There are many places to eat nearby if you don t fancy the hotel restaurant. This is a good budget hotel offering good clean rooms within a quiet environment.
